Just saw them for the 2nd time this tour last night. They, Striker (Also from Canada) and Helion Prime (From California) killed it. From start to finish, all three bands just blew the roof off a small bar in Delaware. Unleashed opened with this song. They took 50 or so people and made the crowd sound like 50,000 in a stadium. Ever a chance to see any of the 3 bands is well worth the time and travel (each show was about a 2-2 1/2 hour drive one way) 🤘🤘🤘🤘

I’m so glad someone else discovered this band and got to hear how truly amazing they are. Great video and hope to see more UTA 🤘🏻

That section between the dueling guitars, galloping bass, and the bass lick at the end was possibly the best musicianship I've ever seen

I have watched this video over 10 times! I love the channel and this incredible song that still blows my mind!.

General of the Dark Army by them is incredible. If you go with Battle Beast, I would suggest starting with enter the metal world. feckin' epic. and their guitarist looks like Nic Cage. hahaha

An amazing Canadian band I recommend is Woods Of Ypres. They have 2 music videos "The Northern Cold" and "I Was Buried In Mount Pleasant Cemetery" but I would also recommend checking out "Your Ontario Town Is A Burial Ground" and "A Meeting Place And Time". However You can't go wrong with any song you decide to listen to, but then again I'm a little bias because they are my favourite band. Sadly the vocalist of the band passed away in 2011.

Don't get me wrong. I LOVE the vocalist. Her voice is absolutely incredible. Has to be one of the top 5 voices, male or female of any genre of music that I've ever heard. Also, the drummer is incredible. Pornstache or not. He's fantastic. I don't play drums but know enough about them to know that his footwork is eye-poppingly consistent and even. Hard to maintain that level of play with that much consistency and power. There's usually some fall off toward the end of longer metal songs unless the drummer is a true master and this guy checked off all the boxes. And I haven't even gotten to the incredible fills he did with a pretty small kit. Just insane. The bassist was very good but not incredible. Certainly not in the same league as the singer or drummer. But very good, none the less. Now I get to what I didn't like. The guitars. I'm a guitarist and metal is my genre. Too friggin busy. I saw very good shredding and impressive fret work. They're damn good. However, time and again, people think playing fast or loading the song with virtual solos as rhythm playing equals good guitar playing. There was no chunk to the guitar playing. Nothing to dig in to and mosh to because the guitarists were playing Flight of the friggin Bumblebee through the entire song. The way the guitars were written for this song betrays a writing immaturity and a lack of editorial appropriateness. They shouldnt sacrifice the structure of a good song with unecessary instrumental fireworks. Show your virtuosity in the solos and consistent rhythm playing. As the emperor said in "Amadeus," "Too many notes.". Lol. But, these guys have HUGE talent and I'd be interested in following them as their writing matures cus they're almost there. And look out when they figure it out.

It's funny the first few listens of the album this was the song I really loved. But as I listened to it the songs Apex and Earth and Ashes in my opinion are the best. Glad you guys enjoyed them! I just discovered them recently and I am addicted. I am not a huge fan of their older stuff though.

Agreed! Apex and False Walls are the best tracks IMO but the rest are still superb....no fillers on the Apex album!

The singer's main influence for singing is Daniel Heiman, the singer of lost horizon... which I'm still waiting for a reaction to xD Do "Heart of Storm", "Sworn in the Metal Wind", "World Through my Fateless Eyes", "Pure" or "Cry of a Restless Soul", singing performance is better from left to right, speed and riffs are higher from right to left, take your pick :D

Well if you like Canadian metal, i of course need to recommend Crimson Shadows. Pretty much any songs of their i'm sure you will like but to name 2, Rise to power and Heroes among us.

Funny thing is I discovered this band like 2 weeks ago and was surprised to find that you hadn't reacted to it yet :) If you are gonna do more cool Canadian bands why not some Protest the Hero for example "C'est La Vie", great guitarplaying, not your typical metal though.
