A rather crude attempt to translate the German words into English. Feuerschwanz is one of the best german medieval rock band! and they are absolutely entertaining and funny. And all band members master their instrument / voice. they are really excellent artists. this song-version is absolutely great. Thank you Firetail.

It's not really rap/hiphop though. It's more like dancehall/reggae with some hiphop influences in its original form.

No frickin idea how i ended up listening to feuerschwanz some weeks ago (through some odd route from sabaton thru alestorm to nuclear blast videos) but i throuroughly enjoy their stuff! Im trying to figure out how to spell how to say it... foyer-schwans maybe? I think what i sing along the most to so far is Böse frage - saufgelage! (stupid question - binge drinking!)

Holy cow you were not kidding about Gott mit Uns! Just listened to the whole album (absolutely fantastic album!) and, yes, most definitely Gott mit Uns is better than the original. And thanks for wearing that Verikalpa shirt. Hadn't heard of them before but checked them out based on the shirt! Another killer Finnish Folk Metal band! They're awesome! Thanks!

I like the medieval version of "I see fire" more than the original... Especially as soundtrack of the hobbit it would have been better cause it fits more to a fantasy theme

Yes, it refers to the dragon but it has actually two meanings. It can also mean "firecock" ;-) Just have a closer look at the stage names of the band members :D

Feuerschwanz means fire di**, or fire tail. The eu in Feuerschwanz is pronounced like öi. Not sure if that makes sense to you guys, sorry. BTW Seeed is one of my favourite non-metal bands. :D The lyrics are about a guy who hides his wedding ring and goes to a bar, then he is trying to "not" pick up a woman and gets too drunk, so he vomits. In the end he says he never thought that vomiting would save his marriage. :D He calls the woman a "ding" (a thing), not his di**.

Feuerschwanz means firetail and not di**. But in slang Schwanz (tail) also means di**! ;-) Original they wanted to take Feuerwind (fire wind), but that was already occupied by another band.

Nice one. Maybe next time you do not understand the lyrics, you may search for them in this weird thing called the internet, translate them and print them out. So you can even look at the heart of the songs, that you musicaly like. Would be interesting to hear your oppinion on this as well. Chears from germany.
