Seeed is a multicultural Band from Berlin. They often mix german and english and their hip hop has a lot of reggae dancehall influence. Their leadsinger Peter Fox made only one solo album that was a huge hit (one of my all time favorites) and then he "retreated" back into the group. His single "Alles Neu" got some international attention too. Feuerschwanz did a lot of covers in their last two albums and they had each member pick one song to folk metalize. The weirdest one so far is probably the numa numa song Dragostea din tei.

Fun fact: You said you don't want to miss any easter egg at the end and so you watched it 'till the end - and there is an actuall easter egg, even without you knowing it: The fox at the end is Feuerschwanz' tribute to Peter Fox, one of the lead singers from Seeed - they mentioned it in an interview when they were asked, if ther asked Seeed for permission (which they didn't^^)

Seeed is pretty multi-national, they contained 11 members up until one of the three vocalists died unexpectedly in 2018. And yes, two members are/were half African. The song is about a family man having a boy's night out, ready to cheat. But when a woman actually responds in a positiv way he get's cold feet and boozes himself out in order to prevent making an irrevocable mistake.

The Seeed Video was pretty impressive back than, because Stop-motion is really expensive to do. Anyway, nice to see you getting hooked ;) Here's another intersting recommendation: "THE DARK SIDE OF THE MOON - Jenny Of Oldstones (GOT cover)" It's a Sideproject-Band containing Melissa Bonny (Ad Infinitum), Hans Platz & Jenny Diehl (Feuerschwanz) and Morten Løwe Sørensen (Amaranthe). They got signed by Napalm Records despite they only had this one single by the time being^^ It's worth a look and to keep an eye on in the future :3

I am happy you did both, cover and original. Both songs are amazing. If you are interested in more metal covers, there is a guy Leo Moracchioli with his Frog Leaps Studio. This guy is from Norway doing a ton of covers and especially the duetts are super amazing. Especially his cover of Totos Africa or the song Dance Monkey are epic or Sultans of Swing. You might want to check him out, if you not already did so.

Your interested into something where dark rock meets glam metal meets gothic meets synths meets clear vocals meets growls and screams? -> Lord of the Lost“ from Hamburg / Germany. Their singer Chris Harms changes between beautiful clear, dark singing and grunts&growls. They are great musicians and released beside their regular albums three acoustic „Swan Songs“ longplayer with a classic ensemble. They just released a new album and a couple of videos from this album. Onet is „The Gospel of Judas“. A very good start with Lord of the Lost: Another suggestion to get into their music is „Under the sun“:

The song is about a guy (who has a wife and kids) going to party in a disco to "just" checking out other women (and puting away his wedding ring). Then there is a really hot looking woman, that even shows interest in him. So he drinks a lot of alcohol that evening, because he gets tempted, but he also doesnt really want to be untrue to his wife, and he is kinda torn apart. After all he ends up puking in a toilet, and doesnt hit on the hot women in the club. So puking saved his marriage.

Have you ever heard a mixture of Ska, Polka, Metal and a hint of Reggae? And all this by one band and everything in one song? And lyrics in German/Russian/English - also in one song? No? -> Russkaja from Vienna/Austria So cool, so hot such great musicians and people. They create such a great atmosphere live with an overdose of energy 🤘 A perfect start: "Energija" // Live 2018 // A38 World I met / shot them twice and had so much fun with them.

I agree with you, I love this Song from beginning to end, I'm happy to see they don't take them selves to serious (the way the Women roll their eyes etc.), to me the highlight of this great Song is when Mellissa goes from her Clean Vocals to her Harsh. But I like the entire Song.

very nice reaction, its great you watched the original too. "Ding" was a huuge hit in Germany when it came out. The stuffed fox that you can see in the Feuerschwanz video is a little reference to Peter Fox, one of Seeeds main vocalists. Here is a live video of Seeed performing "Ding" in Berlin where you can see the whole band: kzread.info/dash/bejne/d5uJj8pyh7fAZ7g.html .

I really have to agree, fanboy or not. Melissa is not the best female harsh vocalist. I wouldn't even say Tatiana without qualifiers, she's probably the best at a technical level. Melissa is fantastic clean vocalist that can use harsh effectively. I would say Lena Scissorhands because she's the most versatile. Both the songs and reactions were great!

I really don't like this "he/she is the best of this that and the other" nonsense. Why has everything to be a competition? What does it matter if someone else is "better" or not? Can't we just all enjoy good music? Melissa Bonny is really good and others are as well. All people do with this competitive mindset is they destroy their own enjoyment.

Competition is the corner stone of human psyche...so its putting things in boxes we naturally do that for comfort. But that aside i know what you mean but at the end of the day we also have prefrences and i hope i was able to convey that its just my preference over another.
