මුලින් science faculty එකට යන්න ඕනේ නංගි/මල්ලි. NMS එක special degree එකක්. කලින් කියන්න අමාරුයි select වෙයිද නැද්ද කියලා. First two years දෙකේ performance අනුව තමයි. To be honest, special degree වලට select වෙන්න අමාරු නැහැ. ගොඩක් ළමයින්ට campus ආවේ ඇයි කියලා අමතක වෙනවා ටිකක් කල් යද්දී..

එහෙම ඉතින් අනිවාර්යයෙන් select වෙනවා කියන්න බැහැනේ. ඒ අවුරුද්දේ demand එකේ විදිහට තමයි. Eligibility criteria එක තියෙනවනම් apply කරලා බලන්න පුළුවන්. මට එහෙම GPA එක අවුරුද්දෙන් අවුරුද්ද මතක නෑ. මම second year හිටියේ 2017. (අපේ කාලේ NS combinations තිබ්බෙත් නෑ. අපිව select කරේ physics GPA + 2nd year තිබ්බ NS course එකේ grade එකෙන්)

01.Medical physicist කෙනෙක් විදිහට වැඩ කරන්න ඕනෙනම් BSc එක විදිහට NMS තමයි ගැලපෙන්නේ technology එකට වඩා. 02. NM කරලා Medical physics MSc එක කරන්න පුළුවන්.

Me video eke katha kare Nuclear medicine bachelor's eka gana nangi/Malli. Lankawe nuclear science department thiyenne ekama ekai. Eka Colombo University eke thiyenne. Nuclear medicine degrees thiyenneth ekai, eke intake eka 6 students per year. Radiography waladi eyala igenaganne machines operate karanna etc. (It's a career/industry oriented degree) Nuclear medicine, medicine and research side ekata barai. We literally don't know how to operate a machine because that's what the radiographers are for. Api igenaganne physics behind the machines and concepts, radiobiology, eeta passe eka eka leda gana, ewa scans wala pennanna widiha, treatments etc. More like medical physics but again with more medicine. (For example a person with a radiography degree can't work as a medical physicist without a masters in the field from what I know). Me awurudde AL karapu ayata aluthen Colombo University eke degree ekak patan gannawa Medical Imaging Technologies kiyala. Ekath mekata kittuwen yana degree ekak. Radiography karapu kenekta kamathinan saha university ekakin illana eligibility requirements thiyenawanan higher education karanna yanna puluwan.

@@konarayasawathi567 Doctor කෙනෙක් වෙන්න පුළුවන් SLMC එකේ approved university එකකින් MBBS එකක් කරලා විතරයි. Nuclear Medicine කියන්නේ medicine වල branch එකක්. NM physician කෙනෙක් වෙන්න MBBS එකට අමතරව Nuclear Medicine MD එකක් (MD= Doctor of Medicine, MD කියන්නේ medicine වල PhD එකකට සමාන qualification එක) ඕනේ.

Eka 2020 patan gaththe. science.cmb.ac.lk/academic/undergraduate-programs/honours-general-degrees/bsc-honours-in-nuclear-technology/ Habai direct power plant ekaka work karanna citizenship ekak nathuwa puluwan weida kiyala prashnayak thiyenawa. (Because it involves defense and national security)
