Unclogging Bridge To Drain Huge Road Flood. Beaver Dam Removal

4 month update to this • 4 Months Later, The Cl...
I do not encourage anyone to enter culverts, unclog anything, or enter flooded areas as it can easily become deadly without the proper training
I unclog drains for fun in my spare time (I have been trained in culvert inspections for years with private co.) and I am osha trained.
Exploring anything abandoned can be dangerous or deadly without experience. I don't encourage anyone to enter any abandoned structures. Not only is safety a concern, but often times its illegal, and when possible I seek out permission from the owner or local police. I simply go to document its history before it's gone forever and I leave things the way I find them. I only take pictures and only leave footprints. I assume all the risks and responsibility before doing this. Please don't attempt to do this on your own. There could be nails, asbestos, falling concrete, soft floors, animals, or other hazards. Thanks for watching.

salads dont really make you healthy, every plant releases poisen when its dieing as a defense against adnimals eating it. we are big enough to not get instantly harmed by these poisens and in turn our body strenghen and this is what makes you healthy. however to much salads and poisen will build up. to many different kinds and body has problems dealing with it too. the vitamins in salads are not nessesary. these are only needed if you eat salads beause youre vitamins needs are raised so its a zero sum vitamin game. so yea it makes you healthy, in samlelr portions and deliberate reduced intake. just like wine is beneficial - in very small portions

From an engineering aspect; it was interesting (once you went to the other side) that you generally had more success pulling rather than pushing. Illustrating that the dams are really designed to withstand forces from only one direction. 👍🏽

I wish states would give him some equipment to keep the beavers from building back. Like they could supply him with drain modifications that are doable by hand and he could install them, make videos, we can watch videos, beavers would be defeated, everyone wins.

I sincerely appreciate that kind of deep understanding and the fact that you apply your areas of expertise to making things work as intended. you keep doing you boo boo. Stay Safe, Stay High Vis.

@@andrewclayterman6230 No point carrying a gun for snakes. You wouldn't hit anything useful and would be more likely to get yourself injured by trying to get too close. Best approach to snakes is to leave them be until they leave on their own. Beavers don't need a gun as they're not going to follow you if you leave, they just want you off their dam. Rake's more than enough.

When the end kept coming off his favorite rake my dad took a piece of galvanized pipe and welded the rake to one end and capped the other to keep gunk out. I still use it. 😊

AMAZING!! Even though I am not affected by freeing up under that bridge, it is so wonderful that you do this.. I hope the forest rangers are notified about the problems these beavers are causing and are relocated. Soon.👍👍🙏🤗

What a great video! So much happening. I do think the beaver checked out the bridge on the first night, you can see it placing two branches on the left side of the opening to make a minor effort to fix the dam. I thought a bullfrog croaked when you burped, lol!

I have to say that this is one of your best yet. So informative, so relaxing so enjoyable to watch. I love the longer videos that I can just enjoy in the evening. I just knew you were going to return for that little culvert. It’s wouldn’t be like you to leave that one go. Well done. Hope you enjoyed your lunch. It looked very tasty.

I love how your videos always turn into nature videos in their own ways. These places you go out to are just so far out in the wilderness I can imagine its alot of fun. It makes me want to see New Hampshire and Maine sometime.
