Favorite all time Van Halen song!

This my favorite VH song and Eddie’s playing is off the charts. The lyrics are mature too and I love the rap vibe with the spoken word vocals at the breakdown. This is one of top 3 most aggressive and ferocious songs ever and the outsolo to this day still raises the hair on the back of my neck.

The tone on the main riff is just beyond sick.

The singer held multiple black belts, which kinda explains his antics on stage.

No, he didn't hold black belts (at least not at the time). He did train with Benny "The Jet" Urdiquez, though. He later delved into several gymnastic & martial disciplines.

This is not the live audio, it is the studio recording, but I love this song!

I did listen to this cassette in my 71 Monte Carlo and seen them on this world tour .

This tune is a full on jam.

All Van Halen albums were great to me, still one of my fave bands of all time. I listened to the Fairwarning album driving halfway across Canada and back in the day. Relax. It's totally capable of being played. It's challenging, but not impossible. It just takes a some practice (and a set up that gets those harmonics to ring out nicely). I've played it live and I know many others who have also played it. The difference is that none of us came up with it, which is why Eddie is the revered genius and I'm just another schmo.

Great song but Lip-synch. You could tell when Eddie was putting his hands on Michael and his bass. Ed was a genius!

Guarantee this is not the audio from a concert. It's the studio overdubbed on the video. Roth is not that good live.

yep, no doubt about that. it's literally exactly the same as the album which is pretty goddamn impossible. it's why they barely show ed when he does the guitar solo haha
