I was told I am not allowed to do this at work after getting out, it made the new hires upset and quit. The kids today need it more now then we ever did back in 1984. Glad retirement is approaching as the kids today are pretty much worthless fat bodies who think they are entitled to everything for no work whatsoever.

It was raining one day and my drill sergeant did like that. So he made me do pushups to make the rain stop. When it didn’t stop raining, he made me do squats to see if that would work. It didn’t. So he made me do sit ups for not making the rain stop.

i loved when they'd say shit like that. 4:56 "look at your own face!" and you had to just figure it out because drill instructors never make mistakes lmao

I remember being lined up and the instructors were inspecting us. One must have said something quite funny cuz we all heard a snigger come from somewhere in formation. I swear whoever giggled gave out the wimpiest “have mercy” before getting set on by the instructors. No idea how the rest of us didn’t burst out laughing.

My thoughts and prayers go out to the people who lost their eardrums after drill instruction

When I went to basic, I had this drill sergeant that kept telling us “POSITION OF ATTENTION” constantly. We all knew that he meant to say “front leaning rest position” but didn’t want to do it 😂 so he notices his mistake and says”THE SQUAT BENDER” and left us in a squatting position as he went to fuck the next door bay 😂

Bruh I know that feeling. 2001 Ft Knox. 5'11. I think the drill Sargent's in question might have been like at max 5"6. I wasn't in their platoons, but lets just I had a couple of sugar cookie days and quite a few hotbox days. Good thing we got new mops at the beginning of Hell week.

Had a homeboy who went into the Marines and he smoked. And the DI's locked in on that. They hazed him about it for all of his boot camp days. One day while traversing the dreaded course of no return, he starts huffing and puffing and on the way back, the DI started smoking and kept calling him a peter puffer

The shouting is required for the recruits to handle pressure and to be a team. There is no I or me allowed, ever.

If you think it’s funny to laugh, you’ll learn real quick. A guy in my platoon got caught laughing and got IT for an hour. The drill instructors made him laugh as he did pushups, bicycle crunches, planks, etc.good times. Good times

One kid got speared by a DI and fell backwards and hit his head on his rack... another kid got drop kicked by our senior DI causing him medical issues and that was a whole ordeal afterwards...
