Today India is rising, asserting itself economically & militarily, and has had enough of all this Western hypocrisy and Euro-centric preaching on what it should do or not. Ukraine was never India's ally. Russia has always been there for India although they have opposing political systems. If the West wants to stand by Ukraine, that's fine. Germany intentionally intertwining its energy needs with Russian sources was the single largest factor inviting the Russian invasion of Ukraine, other than Putin and his cronies. Today, they receive zero energy from Russia. India stepped in to ensure Russia could minimize any economic losses. While Indian Rupees help fund the Russian War effort, the Indian government crows about the great oil prices they have accessed as a consequence of Western democracy oil boycotts, and how India only acts in its own self interests. Why should any other country care if China decides it wants to take chunks of land from northern India, or dominate the sea lanes off of India’s coast? Why should any other country care if India is threatened by terrorists working out of Pakistan? India rightly often complains to other countries about both of these situations, and should receive assistance in fighting these. But who is the real hypocrite here?

I believe it works as follows. We pump our gas and oil through the pipe in Ukraine, and pay them for the transit, then Ukraine buys them from the neighbouring countries because they won't buy it from us, then they fuel their tanks with it 🤪🙈

My brother, I'm Nigerian too but "one of the leaders of the new unipolar world" is a bit of a stretch. 1st they lack the organisation to be ultra player, they still have many years to catch up to the likes of U.S and China on how to properly run a country, they still lack many basics..If I were them I'd focus on self growth, fix poverty, hygiene, standard of living and so on, they still have that problem, hell, they barely have proper transportation network. Secondly they operate on post colonial mentality, they still see the Brits as superiors, they don't show it publicly but it still lives in their minds..They can be brainwashed easily by Anglo Saxon Imperialists like the USA and UK, They use India to raise conflict with China. It gives me great joy to witness the love and support towards India by people all across the world. As an Indian it makes me proud. Since the beginning of the Conflict I've been supporting Russia. As it has been out long term Ally and perhaps our only true friend. They have Answered our call everytime we needed them. Moreover, we have read in history about the Warsaw pact. And dissolution of it. And NATO's promise to not expand in the territories held by the former members of Warsaw pact. NATO has broken its promises and now, it is at Russia's Doorsteps. Ukraine, One of the Most corrupted Nation in the world perhaps. Has been Allies with Enemies of India. It has continually provoked Russia and worked against it in every opportunity it got. They don't run without air support, as that would be suicide, oil or not. Nobody will give them jets as it takes around three years to train a pilot. Anything less and they are nothing more than a flying target. Nobody is willing to commit their own pilots, either, as that would not only be putting them against an air force, Russian, that holds aerial supremacy, but risk a full scale war, which I don't think it can win. Here in Africa especially our country, I think no point in life we will sanction India. India is our partner in trade and investments. I personally have worked with indians for long now. No other country in the world has made such steps on investment in our country like India. Suctioning India is not easy. Many small economy countries will be crippled. India is a giant, it will affect nearly a third of world population. Almost 60 countries.

The Govt of India obviously would be privy to this information, but now, after knowing this, Indians have a stronger reason to support RUSSIA!! Edit: I'm surprised with few comments. I live in the US, just a close-to-home example: imagine if China makes a deal with Mexico, and places Chinese missiles facing us. What would our reaction be? I know what cia would do. In the same breath, why do you think Russia wouldn't have a problem if Ukraine places NATO missiles facing Russia? Don't always eat what media feeds you. Please think.

What are you talking about? Any country has the right to defend itself from foreign invasion. Would you support China's invasion of India? No, right? Don't be ridiculous. India has simply kept a neutral POV in this war because taking sides will cost India and may slow down its economical growth. This does not mean that Ukraine doesn't have the right to defend itself.
