Ukraine sells military equipment (T80's) to Pakistan to use against India. I don't recall Ukraine particularly caring what India thought even up to this year with the Ukrainian minister accusing India of profiting from Ukrainian blood. That is not accurate! 1) Russia discounted oil even under the 60$ price cap to try to break the boycott against it. 2) Oil countries are pushing prices up, because of LOW demand = low incomes. Sorry but your explanation is an excuse, why India up to 13 folded oil import, while Russia is waging a brutal war against an independent country. Listen to Palki: India must look after it´s own interest (1 simply read that is true, but doesn´t that apply to all countries??? If all countries looked to their interest, they would buy Russian oil, and feed the Russian budget, which unfortunately feeds the war). The whole idea of a temporary boycott against Russian oil, is to force an end to the aggression.... as sooner the better, after that India and others could buy Russian oil again. This dialogue assumes you have a sane partner. Which you don’t with Russia, China and the rogue nations like Iran, N.Korea and the like. Dialog didn’t help European nations when dealing with Nazi Germany. Some bully nations all they want is more land and resources and will stop at nothing to get it. All they understand is power and strength. You show weakness and they will continue to come for more. Some bullies just need a punch in the nose and they will leave you alone.

Half of the world is ruled by dictators. We DEPEND upon extreme right-wing Muslim KINGS to supply us all with oil and gas. I didn't VOTE for this, and neither did anyone in America, but here we are, dependant upon people who will stone you to death, if you're accused of going against their god. It's a silly argument to ask if anyone voted for war. Ukraine voted to invite NATO despite the FACT that Putin was very clear about what would happen, if you did. You called Putin's "bluff" and he ain't bluffing and now you all want everyone else to come rescue you, from a bad decision.

India Wholeheartedly Supports Russia & Not Ukraine....

Why on earth isn't anyone talking about 2014: when Kyev reneged on the agreement to cease bombing its population in the East of the country, slaughtering many. Ukraine's own human rights have been atrocious, never mind their blatant racism and especially towards those Africans and Asians living there: just ask one black British doctor who fought hard to get out at the start of the war. And so, India be warned of who it is you're dealing with.

While it was difficult for our students numbering up to 20k to leave the country at the start of the war. I'm not aware of any overt racism towards our students prior to the war. Not speaking Russian they would mostly have been shielded from it. If it was unsafe there never would have been so many Indian students in Ukraine to begin with.

However, I wholeheartedly agree with the reneging to cease attacks on the population in the east. When it comes to HR violations Zelensky would top the list. I do not find credible the accusations against Russia about this when the population they are rescuing happens to be Russian in the first place.

Ukraine is buying Russian oil as well and was helping to sale Russian oil and gas all this time even during a war. Soviet pipelines goes from Russia through Ukraine to EU and was used to sale Russian gas and oil.

@@steverolf5279 it will be long-term, we need Russian engineers to maintain weapon systems, and most of our weapons are either indigenous or Russian so we can’t really abandon Russia for a short while and return back to normal relations. India also has a food surplus, so it is in a position to provide humanitarian aid to the Ukrainian people, all Ukraine needs to do is ask.

As a nation India doesn't even owe any courtesy to Ukraine and Ukraine as a nation deserves every thing it is going through right now.when you sandwich between two sides you should keep quiet instead of antagonizing anyone side

India provided 97.5 Tonnes of humanitarian assistance to Ukraine , comprising medicines , blankets , tents, tarpaulin , medical equipment etc.. In addition, several indian organisations including indian pharmaceutical companies have donated over 8 million dollars Worth of medicines ,food and financial assistance to Ukraine.

India hasn't meddled militarily , But Russian oil will keep coming to provide economic support to Russia ... You shouldn't see this in any other light , Russia has been a forever friend and dependable ally - from the ages West had armed our neighbors against us , Helped Pakistan militarily against us in 1970 (when Russia rushed to our aid) and put us on sanction in 90's Whereas Ukraine has been a constant arms supplier to Pakistan , voted against us in the UN (while Russia vetoes in India's favor) - No cherry points to India-Ukraine relations here We don't forget our dues ....

Ukraine was expected to backstab India. They backstabbed in the past, now also they are doing and will do in the future as well.

If Ukraine has to blame anyone for it's plight then they have to blame themselves... They can't expect India to step in a conflict of their own creation with Russia... Zelensky should have been aware that he's being used by USA and it's allies to serve their own gains...

India is for peace in Ukraine and trying to talk both sides. But India need oil for energy needs of people. Do not forget Ukraine talked for sanction on India few months back. Even rich nations like Japan and Germany are getting oil from Russia.

Is only Indian Mony funding the war ? What about the gass and oil brought by western countries. With what proof US attacked seria ,were there any nuclear weapons? Why you attacked Afganistan? Not everyone in America among 380 million ppls is elon musk & Jeff Bezos. But India has free food grain, education & health programs for 600 million economically weak ppls of India, America doesn't.

well they were invaded for no reason and it's been going on for over a year with India helping Russia and war criminal putin

Europe has been reducing purchases of Russian oil. India has been greatly increasing purchases of Russian oil. India refines Russian oil and settle expensive gas to EU. India makes billions.
