It’s their marketing. They hide A TON of content behind a paywall, it’s Forrest, he does the same thing with his shows, In comparison to someone like Coyote Peterson. I’m not sure why they decided to bring the show exclusively to patreon, they lost the momentum this show was building.

I think they do for the Patreon

It probably just hasn’t been recommended to as many people via the algorithm yet. It’s growing steadily though, so I’m sure given enough time the viewership will jump up over time. If Forrest goes back on JRE and shouts out his pod, I bet the channel would get a huge bump in subs and views really quickly though.
Unfortunately, I just recently found this podcast. I wish I had found it sooner!! Lots of fun and interesting information. Keep up the great work, you deserve a hell of a lot more subs!!! I think Peter got this battle. Lots of love from Maine 🤗
Some times I feel bad for Peter but then I think about how me and my friends interact and if you didn’t know us you would think we hated each other lmao. Another great pod boys LFG!

Great episode, lots of fun! To close the circle on James Cameron's production, he is also the director of the sequel of Alien, Aliens (1986). So your comment on the creatures from Alien/Aliens resembling deep sea sharks makes absolute sense. Also considering that apart from being a film director/producer James Cameron is a renowned deep sea explorer, becoming the first person to make a solo run to the deepest-known point of the ocean some years after creating Avatar.
Man, Retep smashed battle Royale! +1 Vote the brofessor. Great podcast and great guests, subbed to beyond jaws.
Forest wants biologists to jump in like a gang initiation, lol. 😂😂😂
25:16 I consider myself a citizen biologist. And it’s extremely difficult to get anyone to take my words seriously when I don’t have any specific degrees, even though I’m observing, photographing, videoing, and even taking care of animals, every single day.
I’m in that handful for sure bros
Awesome as always brosners! Wish you guys had more time to do a weekly podcast
I appreciate you supporting the iNat crowd
Please bring Steve Backshall on the podcast
Been diving out at flat rock off Stradbroke Island here in Qld, number one place for nurse sharks!
Going from the Jaws generation to my kid's Sharknado generation 😂 says a lot..
You guys are awesome, keep up the great work🫶
Just a small correction- lone spotted hyenas do have a decent success rate (about 75% according to the Zoological Society of Longon) when going after topi, hartebeest, and wildebeest. But yeah, they'll definitely hunt zebras in groups since zebras can defend themselves from all angles.
When they were talking about seals, I was fishing in the south Salish sea....or Puget sound and saw a seal on a marker bout tower. He jumped off as we passed. But later he was back on top. It was like a 7ft climb on a ladder to the top. That guyust have climbed all the way up the metal ladder. Crazy
That was so hot to see forrest talk about his passion
Ayy, noice...been waiting for a full one
I thought you guys would never post lol. Love the content
Skeleton bay namib has the best wave in the world!
New fav Pod after Rogans.
“Wild Times” whisper voice
Kind of surprised no one picked whale shark for the royal
I live on the Great lakes. I 💯 remember that commercial and googling sharks 🦈 in the Great lakes Lol
Awesome show guys keep up the great work
I think you might have to try bringing in Jeremy Wade as a guest on some of the podcasts.
People that have been in shark research for 25yrs would have started in 1997. Jaws was 47 years ago (my hubby was born in 75) !
Peter for the win on the Battle Royale!
A little spicy 😂
Goats
How have yall not touched base with the Meateater guys yet? I think both crews seem to have a lot of philosophical overlap, and with the addition of Kimi Werner they seem to really be getting into the spearfishing thing.
Should’ve went with a salmon shark for the fastest shark attribute! 50 mph!
This is really random, but did I miss where Will went? I've been watching this as I work so I may have missed it but I haven't seen him in a while I realize
Holy shit on a shingle it’s up to 1300 species now? Wow
I would love to see a program about the Thresher Shark. We have them every summer here in Ventura California.
Peter wins!
Looking for advice for my 18 Yr old daughter. She's about to go into Biochemistry at University, hopefully Oxford, fingers crossed, but wants to look at shark research or evolutionary genetics for her future specialist areas. She knows she needs to get on a team out there in the field. She's learning to scuba dive, is a very keen hiker and is an expert in Krav Maga lol. Basically she's tough and up for anything. How does she connect with teams from sharks to tigers to bats depending on where her research will take her? How does she stand out over all the rest? Any advice? She's in the UK btw.
The schooling is the waste of time.
Forrest, invite Joe on for an episode bro! That’ll blow this pod up and it deserves WAY move views. Joe seems to love nature and every time you’ve been on the JRE, it’s been excellent.
Hung shark wins
This maybe makabre but stingrays became one of the most respected animals in my mind after it was the one to take out Steve Irvin
Unless your native you shouldn’t have a pony tail lol. Peter still rules
Loved the jaws franchise it got me into liking sharks i got a shark jaw in my room hanging on my wall
