Easily one of the coolest episodes yet. Those kings of pain are madmen. I'm an amateur insect collector, and I have seen rove beetles in the US, but I have no idea if they are the kind that can melt your skin. I'll think twice the next time I pick one up with my bare hands!

You guys & the guys from The Kings of Pain should Collab and have Forest look for, locate & capture really rare species that have nasty bites, stings & venom then have the guys from Kings of Pain document the side effects of said bite/venom/sting!

This battle Royale was too close to call besides the dq ( gila monster and box jelly are killing that person ) my picks would be A spitting cobra shot to the eyes A Goliath grouper removing a buttcheek And to round it out a bullet ant to the top of the spine

Buddy had a young retic python back in the day, it bit my wrist and wouldn't let go I had to like maneuver it a bit grab it as close to its "neck" as I could and crack it like a whip. Poor thing went quick but I've never held another snake since and I love them.

When I was about 3-4 years old I got into a long length battle with boonie bees on Guam. I would throw rocks at their nests, get stung. My dad would patch me up and I go right back out. If you can imagine a 4 year old has to get pretty close to their nests to hit them. Idk how I’m alive. Also got stung by a sea wasp in Guam

I'm curious where tokay geckos would rate on the pain scale. Probably not super high, but they are the only reptile I'm truly scared of. I had one that lived in my closet as a kid like the evil monkey from family guy. Traumatizing.

Episode 9 I believe Adam takes a tokay bite it wasn't a planned bite. More they fount 1 and he got whacked. It hurt him 😅. It wouldn't rate too high on any scale tho. Its all mechanical damage from the jaws and the jaws are reasonably small.

Hey, Peter. I’m genuinely like… concerned about one of your comments during the bit about newer generations etc. you said that you hoped they didn’t become “bitter conservatives”. Does that correlate? Because I’m “conservative” (more libertarian but let’s not argue semantics.) but I am ALWAYS about conservation and ethical wildlife management, as are most of my family and friends. I’m just curious as to if that’s a stigma that the previous generations have achieved or if it’s a general thought process.

When Rob was talking about History Channel asking him how he would feel about cobra venom in the eye, I would have said “Call Steve-O. That’s how I feel about it.” For Battle Royale, I would say a sand tiger shark bite to the shin, a male platypus spur to the base of the sternum, and a horrid king assassin bug bite to the spot where your lower jaw hinges up by your ear. If anyone has ever pinched a nerve up there, it’s a strong, sharp pain that you feel in your ear as well. It sucks. Now add venom. I think they could do venomous snakes like a Florida Pygmy rattlesnake or a sidewinder. I’ve heard they’re not medically significant. I would stay away from a water moccasin/cottonmouth, as they can put you out for a while. Perhaps the rear fanged venomous snakes would be better; like a false water cobra or a mangrove snake.

This kinda has to do with the bull boar thing. But what bothers me is not if somebody is out in the field like I understand accidents, mistakes happen. People misspeak. But what bothers me is if it's like a documentary somebody recorded the audio in a studio. And they call snakes poisonous instead of venomous. That really bothers me.

DISCLAIMER: I don’t want them to do this if they don’t feel safe about it. Stingray, my dad got hit with a big stingray in belize, went in at the bottom of the calf and came out about halfway up, hes a big dude and was about 240 and 6’3” at the time and it fucked him up for days and then ended up with all sorts of problems in the weeks following. Pain from the toxin lasted about 24-36 hours and then when it wore off there was a nasty hole all the way through his leg. I helped the doctor at the local clinic dig around in the wound to check for bone or broken barb chunks and we measured the distance of the wound and the barb had to be at least 7” long. Would be curious to see what yall rate that as a “sting” I personally think its more of a stabbing than sting

I can say honestly the cat bite hurts but it’s probably not nearly as bad as any of the animals they have been bitten by. Had a house cat get out and go after a stray cat with half a face under a trailer and I tried to grab my cat and he bit me. I have the scar on my hand from the teeth going into the top of my hand and sunk into the bones in my hand. Hurt for a second the. Just aches for a few days. Luckily didn’t get cat scratch fever from it
