well they aren't a 90's band, so... I believe their first big radio single came out after 9/11. I know because it made me wish for it to happen again. Edit: I just got to that part and they literally didn't name a SINGLE 90's band. The closest they got was Red Hot Chili Peppers, and they're from the 80's lol.
