Fun guest, love hearing the crazy Forrest stories. Pat wins. Great podcast, loved extra stories that Forrest has aura of getting in trouble and doing dangerous stupid shit. Studio looks awsome guys and it makes more enjoyable atmosphere while watching in YT.

Nick should have pointed out that the lowland streaked tenrec (which is the one I assume he meant since they are the meanest) have spines on the back of their necks, which I would argue is part of the body rather than the head, that it raises before charging at potential threats. With the legs of a basilisk lizard that’s a pretty scary miniature spiked battering ram. That particular Tenrec also has its own complex non verbal language so if they were fighting in Madagascar it could call an army of lowland streaked tenrecs in to help 😂

Alcohol (more toward spirits) will make a snake spit you out, pour some alcohol in the snake mouth, you don't need a lot it will drop you, plus the bite wound get distracted, it will hurt like a bitch, but you both get to go your own way, with out chopping heads off.

If you guys want to get a snake off of you get an icecube in its nose or pour vodka on the snake or run it’s head under cold water or just wait till it comes off please don’t cut the head off I was just holding my snake today and it tried to bite me but I realized it was biting me and it backed off (my snakes 2 1/2 feet and the bite won’t hurt but I also have a rat snake not a python)

Rubbing alcohol also works. There is a video on youtube of a snake that literally swallowed its own tail all the way up to its "neck", and they put rubbing alcohol on his nose and he immediately vomits himself up. It's... well, it is a video that will make you feel some kind of way. Viscerally. I've also had this recurring dream since I was ten where a Tokay gecko latches onto my nose, and I instinctually try to take it off with my hands, and his body pops off and the head is still latched on, just dripping blood into my mouth and looking into my eyes with its crazy fuckin' head lamps. God I am TERRIFIED of those fuckers. Still wouldn't kill one if it bit me though, at least not on purpose.
