I just changed my whole game! I tried the gel-only WnG and it worked soooooo well. Watching Jenn and TrulyTalentedBeauty wore me down and I finally gave it a chance. Let me tell you, my hair has never felt this hydrated without being heavy. This soft without being residue-y or oily. I will forever love my oils and butters, but I can see the draw to the 30DHD. (Which, I did not try, but my normal routine already mirrored a lot of it anyway. Especially after I adopted the double washing from your series on it.) I really can. I love UFD Curl Stimulator and the combo with Knot Today's custard gel was a knock-out. Though Idk if the hold is strong enough to keep my hair from tangling up. We'll see tomorrow 😅 If it's not, I'm gonna need a strong tertiary gel to isolate my strands better 🤔 or maybe switch out the Knot Today I usually need to remoisturize at least every or every other day, but Robin has be soft, hydrated, and pliable all week. I'm on day 5 and she's asking for a spritz, but dazit! I'm also certain I can get the time down with this simplified process. My favourite part is I can feel the water in my hair. No more wondering if my hair is moisturized or just soft and malleable. I know know. I'ma stop rambling 😁 Ugh! I'm so glad I've found something that works for me 💃🏾

You are totally not rambling. I know the feeling of finding a product that works wonders for you, after struggling for so long...girl, be happy about it, scream it to the roof tops 😁❤️. Love your excitement!!!!! I gotta try UFD again. I remember trying it a year ago, but it didn't work for me. Like it moisturized (I don't really need that, found cheaper products that can), but gave me zero hold. Maybe I'm using it wrong???? Does it need to be by itself?

@@apara2005 I wouldn't use it by itself. It's got a medium hold Imo, so I'll back it up with something strong from now on. I really like the ingredients and the ginger scent, but there's definitely cheaper stuff stuff that can accomplish it's best quality. Do NOT like that price 😱

@@apara2005 Yeah every time I use UFD I put a mousse on top for more hold. But sometimes the mousse gives it a more “dry” feeling. I want to try her gel method!

I'm going to follow your lead and re-wash my hair. I tried the Mousse Def and it worked a little too well - defined but crunchy! I don't want to wait to long so it gets super tangled. It's been 5 days. You have great willpower, that little evening bag was sooo cute!

Yes, re-washing is the best option. Even if it's conditioner. My wallet was stronger than my willpower 😂 I've already bought so much stuff recently haha!

I love all your videos, because you have such a upbeat and enjoyable disposition!!!!! What did you think about the Maui moisture gel? Did it have ok hold. I'm still in the market for a good gel. Aunt Jackie was great, but dried the hell out of my hair (I think I told you that in another video). I use to use Design Essential Almond and Avocado line gel custard, which didn't dry my hair out but had no hold. P.S - have you tried the Doux mousse? It keeps my hair VERY moisturized (for a week) in this horrid dry summer heat we all are experiencing.

Hey Apara, my very next video (Monday) talks about the Maui gel. It think it’s better than Aunt Jackie’s, but only marginally. I have the Doux mousse but I have yet to try it by itself. Next time!

I will say, do what I did, find the founder's video on KZread and follow her exact instructions your first time. You'll be amazed. The second time I tried it I did put a leave in conditioner under it, didn't get good curl definition, but it reeeeeeeally sealed in the moisture in from my wash day (better than an oil, and washes out way easier). Which is really good for these hot dry summer days. Have a goodnight ❤️
