My channel offers fun and easy-to-digest 4c natural hair tutorials, product reviews, reaction videos, and more.
I want to inspire women to confidently showcase their highly textured hair to the world. That means in the boardroom, on the soccer field, at the fashion shows, and during travel. So go 'head, sis, and let that crowned melanin GLOW!

It stopped my itchy scalp
I see you’re using oils and butters now. Glad to see that. It’s essential for healthy hair.
I know this video is four years old but it is so relevant to the natural hair community, especially for those of us that have dominant 4C strands. I think the categorizing of hair types is equivalent to race and culture. Another form of separation and classism making one group more acceptable than another. That is the last thing we need in the melanated community. I've been on my natural hair journey for almost 20 years and I'm still learning more reasons to love the crown God blessed me with. I am not interested in comparing my hair to anyone else's, and neither do I care what anyone else thinks of my hair, that includes stylists, no it alls, and any spewing negativity. Thank you @LaToyaEbonyHair for setting the record straight with facts. Keep doing what you're doing, your truth is inspiring!
We tend to manipulate our hair into a state that is unnatural for it's type. It's trying to get 4c to be 3a. Since I've been wearing my hair in it's natural state I have been so much happier. Life is good. I love my 4c hair. I get compliments on my hair. Did I say Life Is Good? it is.
True 4c girl here 🙋🏾♀! I exclusively wear WAG's and have done so for about 5 years. My hair is much longer than in my profile pic and the goal of maintaining a WAG is how you dry it and sleep on it. I sit under a hooded dryer for at least 30 min then diffuse the roots to lock in the curl. I sleep on a satin pillowcase. When my hair was shorter, I slept on it as is. As it got longer, I started to sleep in a pineapple (a buff is the best option for that, NO BONNETS, they mess with the shape of the hair cause it's just running wild and tangling up in that thing). Now that my hair is shoulder length, I wear my hair in a low ponytail to keep it stretched downwards. It's not a tight hold, just enough to keep it together. When I wake up I take the ponytail out and let it expand on its own or let the steam of the shower wake it up. Hope this helps ☺
Yay Fall! Since I'm a Fall baby, I'm hoping to give myself some for my birthday ☺️
I never stopped using hair “Grease.” My hair has always thrived since I was a little girl. hair grease has always been a staple in our household. Yup! Prell shampoo and grease! Royal Crown, Queen Bergamot. Dax, Sufur 8, etc.
Congratulations 🎊 🎉🎉
In 2024 - in new my ends were okay. Thought I was doing something wrong with my hair. Thanks for sharing.
Im so happy you got to him. I just watched your video from covid. And I was gonna dm you his notes..😅😅😅😅
Uh Oh -OMG! another Jeri Curl ? What's in it and now you have to use it daily? Is it effecting your reproductive system --- THINK -> WAKE UP!!; you no longer the using the creamy crack relaxers; but you still are imitating the European aesthetic. You have a different aesthetic with KMT-KNX.
So is 4c looser then 4b? Or is it the other way around?
Some naturals prefer to wear their hair strait. This is perfect for them
Greeeeeeat video ❤ I find using grease prevent knots and keeps the moisture till next wash. I recommend to follow the Anthoney Dickey method, total game changer ! My hair is fine and medium density, I dont use much product honestly. And with practice, it takes me daily 15 mn to cowash and shower.
What about those who say this produces hygral fatigue?
Did he cut off his 4 C hair😮
It's not practical for most people to redo a WnG every day! Who's got the time for that?
💃🏾 yay! Gotta get caught up on the series!
Congratulations 👏🏽👏🏽

Thank you for your video Queen I'm a black man that has very kinky hair and I always wanted to find out the difference between people who have more bigger curly hair and mine's being more kinkier
This has really help me
Get y’a another leaf….lol
THANK YOU!!! My daughter has 4C & wants this style. I had no clue of how to do this without it looking like a hot mess.😬
I surely love your hair.❤ I feel that my hair is 4C compared to yours. I do want to know if it is wise to co-wash with Conditioner every day without shampoo.
Ty you for this awesome video Queen ‼️
I got my job at Matrix due to my natural afro styled at Hair Rules. And as a Playboy Bunny they forced me to keep my afro despite me wanting to switch my style up 🤦🏾♀️ I get my corporate jobs based on my look; they love my natural hair. I get stopped by photographers all the time. But I love a Vidal Sassoon straight blunt cut, too.
Use a diffuser to help with drying quickly.
The girlies with looser curl patterns have to condition, leave in, gel each section and diffuse as well. Unless it’s going into a ponytail. I think only type one people wash and go literally and they wish they have curls. Embrace your wash and go’s ladies. Our hair is beautiful ❤
Yes the weaves in the hair stores are liaded with the his ,i Lea ned the hard way. Three diffeent ocassions, and if you dont know they will take over your body pets and will travel your floors and cover your furniture.Pay attention ladies
❤
Hi! I just now found your channel and I just wanted to say that I REALLY REALLY appreciate your videos especially your hair journey. I just transition from relaxers as of November 2022 and I did my big chop April of 2023 so a year and some change with my natural hair now . I didn’t know and still am learning how to accept my hair texture/type and I cried a lot when I missed my straight hair and managing just straight hair overall because I don’t know how to manage my natural hair. I’d hide my hair texture after I cut it all off and now it’s growing pretty decently. Watching your transition video really gave me the push to stay natural and trust the process and I just want to say thank you so much for making these videos even though it was 12 years ago and I’m just now finding it 🥹🥹🥹🩵🩵🩵🩵
Yes! Creating a space for peace is essential. I always take my time because my hair will definitely break if I'm not gentle with it. I used to dread wash days; now they're one of my favorite days of the week! ❤
I agree with you 100%. I've always suspected there's some racial bias going on when it comes to taking care of hair. Like why do we black people out of all races got to be the ones putting out all the effort into our hair more than other races? All white people need to do, is wash their hair with shampoo and conditioner, eat healthy, exercise, put their hair in a bun every night, rarely a bonnet and go to bed. There are some white people who only washes their hair with water and nothing else and still maintains their hair hygiene. Their hair care is so simple and their hair grows effortlessly. A lot of us put a whole lot of effort into our hair and our hair is STILL EXTREMELY SHORT! I think these protective hairstyles should be used as normal hairstyles instead of something that we needed. Maybe if we try to simplify our hair care and live healthier lives and try to do what the white folk do and still wear our cultural hairstyles, we would have been able to take care of our hair without stressing ourselves to do so. Growing our hair should not be this complicated.
This was recommended to me way too late 😂😂😂
Died down in the 2000s? Sis who you know that was wearing a curl in the 2000s???????
I saw this EONS ago on like cnn or something ..was a dominican or brazilian breakthrough. Them afro latins felt so saved by the gel 😂😂😂. They were like finally...we dont have to blow dry/fry it anymore... ive done it all to my hair. Imma keep these sister locs though ❤
See this is why I never played around with a wash n go because I didn’t know you had to slaver gel and water to your hair which is two things my hair hate! I been doing some research because I been very curious bout a wash n go! I sleep wild so I know a lot of the issue is that followed by defining a curl pattern for the next day and waisting 15 mins tryna figure out how it wants to lay! I purchased a refresher which basically replaces hydration to your hair followed by a moisturizer cream I believe from ID products! I do have some items on my wishlist that I’m curious about with a wash n go and they are; Lush super milk hair primer, Camille rose curl love moisturizer milk, innersense I create hold, and uncle funkys daughter curly magic! I seen how a TYer used these products on 4 type of hair and those products held up pretty well! Can’t wait to start a wash n go! TY for your high priestess energy! Much love 🖤 and light 💡 Namaste 🧘🏽♂️🙏🏼🧘🏽♂️
This makes sense. My hair is more manageable when I wash often. I can't go over 4 days without a refresh.
