it's hard to wrap your head around how someone could let go of such amazing animals. they're all so sweet and loving. I do understand that some people pass away or have another big life change, but they could at least make arrangements for them. I'm just happy that Hope For Paws found them. now they have a chance of finding a really good home.

Could see Chester becoming an amazing therapy dog. What a big sweetie

Chester had a family who seems to have abandoned him. He is such a loving and caring, sweet boy. 💞💞💞💞

If Loretta is a music conductor in her ways, the way she makes rescues look like an art; JoAnn is a doctor, all clinical and no-nonsense and efficient. It makes my day watching the two at work, giving dogs a second chance.

I do a "donation dance" after each time I donate. I know its silly but I don't care. Making a difference is wonderful.

I envy the family who gets to adopt Chester. What a beautiful, sweet and loving dog he is. The way he was with Little Tony and the other dogs made me emotional. If I could, I would adopt him and Little Tony together. Thank you for saving them from a life on the streets.

Dogs are a gift from God which humans often don't deserve. Thank you for saving these precious pups. Guys, you rock! 💖💖💖

I rescued my little girl from a shelter, she was so scared and didn't trust people, now she loves my company, sleep in my room and traveling by car. Seeing the happiness we can give these animals motivates me to live.

if you took it from a Shelter doesn't it mean that you fostered or adopted it from them. already, shelter is a place to keep rescued animals. I am just trying to clear my head of your word usage. keep up the good heart ❤️

@@Hlutea-Hmar I live in a city where some people rescue animals and just protect them from the rain and give them food. When I adopted my dog the place was dirty and there was not enough food, there were almost 100 dogs. Also, I believe someone hurt her, maybe in the old house, or even in the "shelter".

Awe poor babies. I wonder if Chester was from a house very near, he stayed in 1 place for a month waiting for ...his owners? He seems so nice and friendly. Thy do not ask to be born, so sad when their lives are so tough. Thanks so much!!

Many thanks to the two caring families that called Hope for Paws and keep the dogs safe until rescue could happen. Folks, I'm on a limited budget. I had to cancel some subscriptions for things that I truly loved. But I'd rather go without eating for a day than cancel my monthly "gift" to Hope for Paws. I only give $20.00. I wish it were more. But for those of you thinking about a monthly "gift", do it. You won't regret it. I call it a "gift" because I'm the one blessed by the giving. And a live animal rescue is worth its weight in gold versus a dead animal lying in the streets. Give if you can. God bless you all. Blessed are we by being allowed to help Hope for Paws.

Just because a dog is on its own doesn't mean it was abandoned. He could have gone for a hike and got lost. Dogs to tend to escape their homes and take off.

"Dogs do not run away" from responsible owners . Children "don't get lost" either , people lose them .

Always heartbreaking seeing a dog face into a corner so terrified. Thank you for all you do - again, I would adopt both immediately if I could. Chester and Tony are very sweet natured.

Rescued dogs are the best... They're so grateful for the love and hope they are given again! I wonder why anyone would leave these two dogs to fend for themselves? They are adorable!

I will never understand how someone could simply abandon a dog, but I am thankful people like Eldad and Hope for Paws exist to rescue them. Chester and Little Tony have nothing but happiness to look forward to when they find their forever home.💕

Chester is such a sweet and smart boy....all that he's been through and he helps Little Tony trust again. I'll bet he'd be a good helper to make other dogs feel at ease.

Chester really loves people. He helped that little dog, too. You could see that Chester felt compassion when the little dog was so scared.

I just saw on the news here in Denmark, that a danish company, who makes fireworks, has developed a pet friendly version, that is almost noiseless. Let's hope, it becomes a success.

I love to watch these rescues. Hope For Paws is a very special and patient rescue organization. Sometimes I get emotional because they remind me of people who have been abanded and abused. Very touching. I am proud to be a monthly member. You are angels on Earth taking care of God's creatures.

Many of these abandoned dogs are evidently used to being on a leash. They therefore do not see it as a threat, but as something familiar when the animal rescuers put the leash on them.

Little Tony looks just like the dog, I had, when I was 10. It brings sad memories, but also a happy ending. Her name was Buller and one dark icy evening, when she was in heat, she bolted out of the garden, looking for a love affair. But she was hit deadly by a car on the street. The man, who run her down, was very, very unhappy. So he promised to find me another dog. Next day he called us, saying his neighbor had a high prized beagle, who had gotten "illegal" pregnant with a black dachshund - and the owner was furious, saying the pups would all be drowned. We promised to take them all and find them homes. We got 5 puppies, kept Tulle who instantly became best friends with our cat and lived 12 happy years - and found good homes for the others. I've often wondered if Buller looked down from heaven and saw, how her death actually saved the lives of 5 puppies. I hope so.

So heartbreaking and hard to believe a dog like Chester was a stray. We can learn so much from animals. Chester was in a bad situation himself but put that aside to comfort Little Tony who he understood was terrified. Both dogs deserve a loving home and it would be such a great thing if it was a double adoption! Thanks to Hope for Paws for all you do!

Little Tony was scolded while almost slipping away during the rescue so that made him a bit more afraid of them, so I"m glad he was able to trust them more after a few days.

Y'all really need to get the burgers! It's a schtick that not only draws the dogs or just about any other critter, but makes us humans smile and want to buy burgers for you :-) That's what got me hooked 3 years ago and I've been donating ever since.
