The should be charged with criminal negligence of a beautiful spirit. It was hard to see how fearful she was when she was found. No dog should have to be so fearful of humans.

Oh lord I can hardly watch these videos of animals that were mistreated. Who does that? What is wrong with those people? I hope they rot in hell. On another note, thank God you found her and she got the life she deserves!! Thank you!!

That must've been so difficult for the original rescue lady who realized Mary ended up in a bad situation despite their having taken steps to ensure a good permanent placement. Looks like a great Christmas homecoming for Mary, at her new forever home with her new, loving forever daddy!

It is…. I once vetted a family to take the most loving labradane. They called after 2 years to return her she was skin and bones. I cried for weeks, she was the most gentle dog you have ever met and she was starving. She never left us again. They were a wealthy family too so not feeding her was not an excuse, just plain negligence. She was scared of going outside every time my husband would open the door for our dogs to go outside she would run farther inside. I think they kept her outside all this time. Broke my heart into pieces but at least now I know she is with us and happy, warm and healthy again. Oh she also started barking again not too long ago. She was not barking for a long time when she came back😭.

@@shiks800 It's heartbreaking. I got my one boy from a rescue who do everything they can to make sure the dogs in their care go to good homes, but sometimes mistakes happen. Fortunately they keep ownership of the dog in the contract and full RBU so the dog goes back to them if it's not looked after or something happens and they can't keep the dog. My friends have a dog of theirs that they removed because of neglect. The family seemed perfect, but they were anything but. He's thriving now and they've just adopted a young female who he treats like a baby sister. Both of them are so well looked after and pampered, but it's awful how cruel even the nicest seeming people can be.

@@Jack_Russell_Brown They worm their way into your heart, don't they? I don't get people who keep dogs outside and don't treat them like the sensitive and loving creatures they are. Mine know it's bed time and they know their spot on the bed. They try it on and lie in my spot, but they move when I tell them to and grumble while doing it. It's just a game, they know they'll get cuddles before I roll over to go to sleep. They tell me when it's walkies time, and alert me when a killer leaf is blowing across the yard. It might be harmless, it might be waiting to kill us all in our beds. Best to bark loudly to scare it off just in case 😂

You would think they would want to take pictures of their new life with their adopted and adored pets to share with people, especially those they adopted them from. I always wondered about those types that take precious animals and drive off to their darkness. Well, there's a specially dark dungeon waiting for them with their name on their collar.

My life is in no position right now but if things change I would love to adopt a dog or cat.......

I thought today was a day that I would not shed any tears. That all changed when I watched this beautiful clip about Mary. After what Mary endured before she was rescued by an earth angel, we can only imagine the abuse and trauma 💔 that she went through. To compound her suffering her new supposed forever home , subjected her to even more suffering. That was in no way the fault of the earth angels. To then see Mary in the forever home that she deserves ❤ 💕 💖, well what more can I say. Her new forever home is full of love 💘 💕 and joy.

My foster fail is also asleep on the couch next to me. 5 years next month. Plus 2 years ago the vet predicted she only had up to 2 months left to live. I cried at this 10 seconds in and hadn't actually even clicked on the video 😂

That man has a truly beautiful soul. The way he burst into tears at the news also brought a tear to my eyes. It’s especially poignant when an abused dog finds a human who loves them so much. Mary is such a special dog & I’m glad she’s found such a wonderful, forever home. Great story!

Absolute truth...and there are people who actually become jealous of pets. I trust no one with my animals id be a foster fail every time. In fact, I have 3 cat sacks used for restraint that I no longer need but will take with me to my grave bc I'm afraid of who might get them & what they'd do with them. Seems like there are way too many 'wonderful people' who are hiding their true & hideous core from others.

She has quite an angry not-smile while she's talking about it. Reminds me that throughout most of the animal kingdom, showing one's teeth is very much a sign of aggression. If she ever got her hands on the people who did that... well, I'd just hold her coat for her and I wouldn't see a DAMN thing.

that video did me in too.....we found our dog at a rescue centre 4yrs ago....a Chow....one of the most difficult headstrong breeds as you know.....struggled for two years.....had to move house and from then on he has been so different.....like he wasn't happy at the old place......he's one real happy soul now, fields and open spaces, one car per day in the village.........i feel now he is finally settled after whatever he went through to end up in a shelter.....long, hard road but a Chow is a Chow- if you ain't up to it then don't start it !.....

When he opened the box with her name tag and address I cried with him too! Felt so bad for the lady that tried so hard to ensure all the puppies had good furever homes. So very happy it ended happily! Thank goodness the dog was chipped to her so the shelter could call her.❤

I rescued a beautiful 3yr old black & white Great Dane from the shelter about a month ago. She was rescued from an NYPD cruelty case, and had given birth to 8 puppies who were all adopted. She has turned out to be an amazing dog. My husband didn't want to adopt her at first, I guess when she got in the car & kissed him it was a done deal.

This provides additional ways to train in addition to the two obedience classes my sicx month old belgian malinois has already attended. Despite having dogs my whole life, i have been voraiciously reading dog training and psychology books lately given my little "maligator" has a mind of her own (extremely smart but obstinate) , and this one ranks among the best.

I am ending my day with tears ❤ happy for you sweetheart ❤

I can’t tell you how many times I’ve watched this video. IT NEVER GETS OLD. I now think my favorite part is in the end (not when he opens the gift) but it’s when the family starts applauding and come together. It gets me every time. To see such a loving and supporting family. Together, unified, on the same page. I’ve had many a friend foster fair. It’s a badge of honor.
