Thank you to Pima Animal Shelter for recognizing the importance of keeping these two dogs together. It was the most kind and humane thing to do. So happy that they waited until the right family came along. The dogs were and will always be a pair.💕🐶🐶

There would be no way I could separate 2 pooches that stay hugged up or always touching each other. If I go into the shelter looking for "a" dog and saw 2 who were bonded......I KNOW I'd get the 2 bonded ones. My adult son & I will be moving soon and we want another dog. We've had cats for many, many years and we are down to 1 cat now. I will inquire if they have a bonded pair & I'm going to adopt them. I've always adopted 2 cats together because cats are easier when they have a littermate. I think dogs aren't much different.....

We had 2 bonded dogs when 1 died the only way out of her grief was a 4 wrrk old male puppy we adopted 2 weeks sfter her brother s death i hope this encourages snyone with super bonded pets xo

There's no way I could split them up. I've rescued two sets of sisters. They would absolutely be lost without out each other. My wife says I'm forbidden from visiting the shelter

Great story...and I know the feeling! After I adopted a Rottie from the shelter 4 years ago, if it was up to my wife, she'd have a poster of me at the shelter warning that this man is addicted and not to be allowed in. Our first two dogs (Rottie and Shepherd) came from a shelter 16 years earlier. We're on a ranch so the Rottie's in heaven working every day keeping the cows in line and hiking nd biking in the mountains. Cheers!

This has got to be one of the best adoption success stories I have ever seen. This couple is aces in my book. These pups went to the perfect home. It really warms my heart and brings tears to my eyes, and I applaud this animal shelter for not separating these dogs and doing everything in their power to help them get adopted together which is no easy task.

You all are wonderful people. The dogs looks so happy. They couldn't have went to a better home. Blessings to the both of u and your new additions to the family. Stay blessed

I'm glad that they realized that they were a bonded pair. Splitting them would have been awful for each of them. They are so misunderstood and mishandled.

I want someone to stick by me like how these doggies stick together. That's some unconditional love and loyalty. ❤️

We need more people like these two. They are heros in those dogs eyes and everybody watching..

Great job, they will reward you for it by keeping them together. They will love you like they love each other.

I love the couple who adopted them, & the way he just picked up the pitties & put them in his truck just squeezed my heart, these people are modern day Heroes

To me there is nothing worse than an empty house after the loss of a pet and the beds, toys and dishes are put away. So glad they filled that place and bless you for giving them a home together.

I can hardly even go to a shelter to look for a dog cause whenever I choose a dog I feel guilty about the other dogs looking at me with puppy eyes 😞🥺

Please don't feel that way. Just think of it as doing your part for humanity. Even if you are only able to adopt one pet, it means you saved a life, and now another animal can be rescued. Shelter pets are so special.

The people who should feel guilty are the former owners and definitely not people like you who want to give a dog a family instead of being just an owner. Sounds cheesy but be the change you want to see in the world. Everything starts with you. If these people inspire you, you can be an inspiration to others, too. It's not your task or burden alone.

I agree.. Im currently the owner of a 7 year cat i adopted Was very skiddish and shy. But is coming around... Wherever she came from they didnt treat her too nice.. And i let her know she in good hands

Yeah. That brown and white one at the beginning of this video broke my heart.

These two are so cute love how synchronized they are. All four make a wonderful and complete family.
