Spotted Silver Carp Baby Fish Released Into Pond !

Bighead is a fish of the genus Bighead of the Cyprinoid suborder Cyprinidae. Bighead alias silver carp, black carp, bighead fish, big carp. The bighead carp (Bighead carp) has a maximum body length of 1000 mm and an individual length of 40kg. It is grayish-black, dark brown on the back and upper side, dense with black fine spots, and silvery-white on the lower side and abdomen. Each fin light gray; Body laterally flattened, elongated; Small eyes, wide mouth. Like grass carp, black carp and silver carp, bighead eggs are produced in the flowing environment with swirling waters at the tail of large and medium-sized rivers and large reservoirs, and then drift with the water to develop into larvae, juveniles and juveniles. Because of its fat head, so the name bighead fish.
Bighead carp is mainly distributed in eastern Asia and all major river systems in China, but mainly in the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River basin. Bighead bighead mainly lives in the middle and upper layers of flowing water or large still water bodies, such as freshwater lakes, rivers, reservoirs, ponds and so on. Bighead is a warm-water fish, which overwinters in lakes or deep water, and can adapt to more fertile water environment. Bighead is a typical filter-feeding fish, which feeds on zooplankton such as cladicorns and copepods and some phytoplankton. The bighead carp reached sexual maturity at 4-5 years of age, and the parent fish propagated in the river section with swirling water at the river temperature of 20-27℃ from May to July. The young fish generally fattened in lakes and attached water bodies along the river, bred in the river when they were sexually mature, and then returned to the lake where food was abundant for fattening. The life span of bighead carp is about 10 years.

CARP? Apparently people in China like bottom feeding carp. Carp when introdused into streams of America they made short work of native species. Carp are still causing havoc in the Great Lakes while working up canals accessing the Lakes. The Chairman Mau's revenge. Didn't we come to the aid of China after Jspan invaded them?

I agree you work hard for your needs and wants unfortunately some people don’t have to but yet there to criticize it makes me sad
That is why I always buy my fish “wild caught”
They throw net's out early morning than later sam day about 7 to 8 hours later they pull the nets in and baby carp they grow .People do different things with carp.Goggle it look it up youself have a nice summer😂❤😂😂

Для этого есть рыбоводы, они и определяют порядок проведения работ по пересадке малька, зарыбления. А вода обычная прудовая, при облове она всегда мутная, ничего страшного

Polluted our rivers? lol. our rivers have been Polluted with forever chemicals for more than 6 decades and a recent study has proven that forever chemicals one way or another has been found in almost every river in US of A.

I am a Fisheries graduate,and am always taught that stocking should be done slowly so as to let the temp of the container water acclimated with the pond water to minimised mortality The woman just throw out the fry without giving consideration with the fragility of the small fry.
