Tune-Up, Compression Check, Manifold Gasket, Vacuum leaks - SRT-4 Red Dead Redemption Episode 3.5

Continuing to troubleshoot the issue on the car. We did a tune up since it was needed from sitting . We also found the intake gasket was likely leaking so it was replaced and everything cleaned. We cleaned out the fuel rail and injectors. After assembling everything it was running much better but I found the Throttle body is leaking at the O-ring. Next video I'm hoping all of this work comes together and it'll be ready for a ride.

Ur supposed to take all the spark plugs out then do compression test

Funny you say that I also read do one at a time and keep other plugs in . Other than spark plug 4 we pulled all plugs to compression check 1 , 2 , and 3. So when we did those no spark plugs were installed . Didn’t make a difference really . We also didn’t warm the motor up like we are supposed to .

I wanted to mention after I get it running right (hoping to put the new gaskets on today) I plan to do a new test on a warmed up engine both dry and with oil. Seems healthy enough so far :) hoping it does well

Not true , plugs won't affect the compression. Cus gasses escape from the intake and exhaust .

@@mikhailSRT4 yeah I didn’t see the logic either . I think though that if say there is a head gasket leak from cylibder 4 to 3 and you pull the spark plug out of 3 to test 4 it would measure worse than if cylinder 3 had a plug . But at that point it’s clear something is wrong so what would be the point . I’ll have to test both ways and compare just to bust whatever myth is going on out there :)
