I am a new fan and I have not ever seen this kind of performance anywhere, so unselfish and generous with talent. These people seem to be more humane than any artists I have seen, and wishing to develop their art in the interest of art itself and life. And they are getting better at this all the time. Shaye has been a wonder since she was a kid, and plays whatever instrument she can lay her hands on - with a whole orchestra she plays many instruments together, through the great people who actually hold the instruments. And then one may wonder what was before Shaye and what would the world be without her? I hope she gets a long and beautiful life and that she will always be happy - and able to share this happiness with us the way she is doing already. I can't get enough of this music! As I bought my first banjo and was told about the harmony progression in basic old jazz, I have tried to find useful music I could relate this to, but I was 18 then, now I am 72 - and only now I feel I found what I was looking for! A bit late to start playing this, but I am a very keen listener! Best wishes to y'all!

Thanks. It is Great that Tuba Skinny plays old Jazz Tunes that I do not have and even greater that you know them and post the discography. I have been collecting traditional Jazz Tracks for over 35 years , and you and Tuba Skinny have given me 12 new tunes to add to my tunes list of over 1300.

@David Bento The reality of the world today is that there are people who surf the internet just to disparrage everything and give thumbs-down at any opportunity. I just enjoy this great music knowing that the people giving thumbs-down are profoundly unhappy. These folks (Tuba Skinny) are just so fabulous! I'm bouncing around so much as I listen that it's hard to type this.

Great video. Being a tuba-player myself I have been following Tuba Skinny for a few years on You-tube and I was delighted to see them live in Dendermonde (Belgium) three weeks ago.

I'm a life long jazz disliker. I don't know if TS can be pigeon holed like that,(I think it is more fusion) but totally agree, they would take some beating.

They are so together! Their music flows! Real talent!

I do love me some Tuba Skinny.

Looks like I will be up until 1:00AM again listening to this great band. So glad they are keeping this style of music alive. C. Flory is good on clarinet, but I like Ewan's smoother take on the music. Still GREAT. Come to NC sometime.

I am fortunate to have discovered them despite the fact that this type of music, being universal, is ignored or lost by many; Shaye Cohn manages to design a masterpiece of Dixieland jazz bands that is an example of whoever loves music and knows how to harmonize it, achieves in Tuba Skinny something surprising that few captures and that will surely transcend despite the commercialized music, I am something classic, delicious to the ear and that their expert instrumentalists make together that we can dream of the perfect, congratulations again from Mexico, of a Mexican who knows what is valuable. keep the band together and grow old with it

@Gustavo Kraiselburd Definitivamente, he escuchado a las mejores bandas en la historia del Dixieland y Tuba Skinny son cosa aparte en armonía, alegría, ritmo y sensibilidad, considerando que no son de origen afroamericano, cuando estuve en Preservation Hall me entere de lo grandioso de esta música por su contenido humano saludos igual desde México

As always, I'm late to the game. Big! fan of Tuba Skinny. These folks are as close to historical and authentic in regards to their music, as can possibly be. Shea is an absolutely incredible musician and is almost unworldly in how she approaches her art. Now that said everyone in this band is equally talented and so cohesive in their contribution to this wonderful music.

The girl trumpet player is the leader of the band and the best musician, she has great legs and holds the group together. I love her. What would they do without her? Erika Lewis is special and who could not love her. What a great band. A great, great band. If I ever get to where they are playing, I've got five bucks for the hat.

Always incredible music (especially those amazing vocals) from this group. Watching is a delight. The "dork" in the green shirt was insensitive concerning what the audience would like to see, as well as hear. This are always intrusions in concert settings these days. The video work covers the whole group well. I enjoy the body language of the musicians as they deliver, inside out. Thanks again! Be safe in New Orleans in this troublesome time. God bless.

I'm so addicted I will NEVER get anything else done........how I wish that li'l lady with magic in her fingers would produce a CD featuring herself on piano with some of the many popular tunes that have stood the test of time example: Shine On Harvest Moon, Whispering, etc. and others of that ilk. Have just added six of their Dixieland Jazz CD's to my library.

We have an augmented Tuba Skinny here. Robin's percussion kit includes the washboard and a small drum kit. The usual suspects in the band enjoy the addition of an old friend, Ewan Bleach on sax. Mostly, what we have is a superb band performing at top level. Shaye's solo at 22:43 is a bit of heaven

Still great& going strong my fav KZread selection listen too much my wife is complaint but she'll come around wait until I can get her to listen live my bucket list
