Yes, I feel that, too. They are one of the most recognizable trad bands going. And with some 400-500 song repertoire. Wow!

Resurrecting a sound from yesteryear into tomorrow from NOLA, The Eclectic Jewel of the South known around the world, comes this revival Street Band recreating a timeless and contagious spirit that is catching on through KZread and spreading to all corners of the Earth. Kudos to Shaye Cohn and all of the fantastic TS musicians. You guys really gel like I haven't heard in a long time.

When I was at school I played the bugle in the school cadet band, when I went to the army the bandmaster asked me what I played and promptly said I would be playing the Tuba. ‘Twas really great times.

It is great to see the whole band doing a great job on a favorite tune. Dizzy is almost as good as Robin and the spare tuba player is a good addition. Nice that they gave him a solo, which was good.

I have no idea why I feel so connected to new Orleans. But I absolutely love the music. I've been all over the east coast but something about new Orleans 💜💜💜💜

Tuba Skinny is the group that got me on my recent " jugband" kick, like I had been on from the '60s. I wanna build a banjolin soon, as mando is my main interest. Cheers to all these wonderful folks making GREAT music.

No chance of that, they told me that the UK promoters expect them to pay their own air fares plus accomodation, too expensive when yo have to pay for your airline ticket plus a carriage charge for the instruments.

Great to hear a young band playing New Orleans Jazz. When are they coming to the UK?

The guy wearing the straw hat , and singing - reminds me of Brad Pitt LOL . Tuba Skinny = fantastic band . Love from U.K.

I must admit I do prefer the young man who is on most of the videos I’ve seen, I think he kept a better beat and was much more of a showman. The complete ensemble sounds amazing as always.

The washboard player is washing those clothes in perfect tempo with the rest of the band. Great Job!

If I close my eyes , they remind me of The Captain Matchbox Whoopee Band.....except Capt. M'Box were hilarious ....but sounded similar to this..... anyhoo....these guys are superb...I stumbled upon them accidentally and it has been great listening :)
