Uhh. Love these guys but what makes this more real than any music coming out nowadays? They are just doing covers. I would say writing your own song would be more real and authentic than imitating music from a bygone era. Theres nothing wrong with that but i guess i dont understand what makes it “real”
Love this great music that makes you want to move and smile. I'm almost 83 and got up to dance as soon as the music started. Love Erica's perfect voice!!

A couple other singers who eschew the vibrato: Reba McIntyre & Neko Case. Just pure clear notes, right on pitch. Vibrato is often used as a crutch by lesser singers.
This is a side of America that is not shown often. I absolutely love it.🇬🇧
Dixieland jazz style music is true American music. It's indigenous only to the U.S.A., and Tube Skinny is awesome in the way they play it!!!!
Good lord Erika has an astonishingly perfect voice for this genre. What an unexpected ton of fun from this whole group!

The difference in volume is apparent between her and the banjo player. She projects! Which is why she can sing without a mike and still be heard over those instruments. Oh, and she's gorgeous as well.❤

Love you all Tuba Skinny .As a boy i was raised in a house of jazz .My Father was a professional drummer and my Mother a concert pianist..I studied Drums with Adelaide teacher the late Jack Harbutt

I don't understand the point of bashing music you don't like .. or why so many people are closed minded about music . I am not at all i have genera's i like more then others but keep a open mind and listen ... and may find a song or band i like in a genera when i do not enjoy the genera as a whole .. i can enjoy this and lady gaga then some Snoop dogg maybe alittle Korn and deftones .. or some digital music like bassnectar then later in the day maybe some Towns Van Zant ..

I'm sitting in my van on the banks of Loch Lomond in Scotland listening to this great band. It's early evening. The sun is going down. I have a single Malt Scotch in my hand. Life ain't bad.
I love how everyone looks like they had a "late night" the night before but still bring it.
Erika went to New Orleans, learnt street style. The fantastic result , post floods, is history. They are now all legends,continuing jazz history.
From the singer and the band, to the dancers and to those watching and enjoying, basically the whole street....Excellent, all of it.
I can't imagine walking around a street corner to come across this. Seeing it on KZread brings me close to tears. What a voice and what a band. Xx

Couldn't get a better suited voice for this style of music. she's great.
The Asian couple dancing in and out of the video from the right are an absolute delight. They should have a video of their own. Of course the music is fabulous as well.
The old-timey street music surrounded by beautiful buildings - feels like you have stepped back in time to a golden era in the past.
The girl in grey dancing REALLY gets It!. Erika is magical!
From a pink Floyd fan, I can appreciate REAL music like this, there are NO boundaries.

I found this marvelous band by sheer accident yesterday at about 1 PM. It is now 11 PM on the following day. I've done nothing other than sleep, eat once and whatever unavoidable, and I can't stop playing their videos. I truly cannot understand why I've never heard of them before. But if they got the recognition they deserve, and the great wealth that would come of that, it would spoil the magic and they would be gone. As it is they are perfect. Truly perfect.

I'm always missing New Orleans, but this makes it a little easier. Street bands are one of the best things about that incredible town.

This is what I relished the most on my trip to NO. Sitting in a honky tonk veranda smoking a cigar and sipping whiskey and listening to ragtime and blues all night long.

On their fan page ., your pending request to join depends on if you are a democrat or republican., couldn’t believe that was “1 of the 2” questions asked in order to be a fan., I said republican., mine has not been approved yet., I guess that says it all.... I think it’s pathetic that people are being judged on how they voted or believe. It’s almost like a racial thing., like what was done to slaves way back.... again which was wrong.....people need to stop this thought pattern., we’re all human., men stand to pee., woman squat., we all bleed the same., feel love and sorry and ALL put one pant leg on at a time.
Since the 70s after listening to a local Blues/jazz band I longed to find another band like this, Tuba Skinny fit the bill delightful.
This band keeps me smiling en wonder why they aren't more famous

Well, that was some sweet blues. The singer Erika Lewis was perfect! I've heard many young people sing old blues, and just don't get the right sound. And I have always suspected that they really don't like the style, or they hadn't heard any of the original records, or the producer screws it up. Amy Winehouse could have done a good job on this, but I can't think of any other famous Generation Y or Z singers that could. Modern singers always try to put too many flourishes in it. People like Erika Lewis just aren't heard much in places that aren't New Orleans. She is a rare gem and thank god for her!
