@@yaven8338 that's actually quite good! I'd say you could improve on how to beatbox sounds sound, but overall it's pretty good. Not my taste, but I understand how someone would listen to this!!

Look at the cornet player, she’s directing the entire band while still playing the instrument! She’s using her feet and gestures and it flows together perfectly? It’s just amazing!!!

That's Ewan Bleach, from England. He's played with Tuba Skinny many times.

Its amazing how so many instruments can be played at the same time without over shadowing each other, creating such a nice harmony.

This is inded an Ellington number, but early ellington.

Shaye is so good. She is beautiful, she can play, direct and write. She is operating on a whole different level than most of us. God has blessed her.

This is why I love living in New Orleans. Random musicians just enjoying their craft on the street.

Shay is my hero...I was a music teacher and a trumpet player...there is a certain artistry and tone quality she adheres to that modern screamin' high note players just don't have. She really knows her stuff with the right interpretation, tempos and style, as does the whole band. Tuba Skinny has the same artistry and quality from the brass to the strings, as when Erica [the bass drum player] does vocals, and right down to the washboard and bass drum. They really should tour the schools, especially elementary and middle schools and show kids what real music artistry is, not the junk the music industry forces down their throat electronically [that includes my boomer generation etc.]. I guarantee Tuba Skinny could change their world and the way they think about music, and have dancing in the aisles at the same time. They should be on the top of the list of music education grants of the highest level. They are the right band to do it. Tuba Skinny making it modern and accessible to today's kids.

I agree she’s has a time like nix but really swings. I rather listen to her then these guys playing double high C., My grandfather was Bunny Berigan and I think he would love her music.,Bunny loved Bix. Great band all of them.

Shaye Cohn is such an accomplished musician! She is and the Tuba Skinny Band are such a pleasure to listen to!!!

If you cant tap your feet or rock in your chair you are either comatose or dead. It's hard to believe they play such great music without sheet music. They are all fabulous musicians and I listen and watch them over and over. Never, ever get tired of their music.

Why don't you look up Sidney Bechet? This guy is good buy Sid was the best ever.Look up the only recording of Louis Armstrong & Sidney Bechets "Cakewakin' Babies" made in 1924.The sound quality could be better but the recording is over 90 years old.I enjoy Tuba Skinny but they couldn't hold a candle to those artist back then.

That's honestly maybe my favorite little bit in the song; the quick little grace notes he throws in there are so smooth and flow just right. It's somehow both subtle and impactful. Dude is amazing!

Of all the different players in this group Tuba Skinny. In my opinion, these are the best. The washboard player is incredible, I play the clarinet and this guy has the best phrasing and choice of notes. Great job.

I wish my Dad was still alive to hear this. Played clarinet all his life in a Dixie band, city of Kamloops Rube Band. He aspired to be as good as this young man...😢

Just seeing how in sync Ewan, Shaye, and Barnabus are really speaks for the talent in this group.

What I like about Shaye Cohn most of all is that she shows that she enjoys her music . Well done Shaye .

There is something truly wonderful about street musicians playing true trad JAZZ

The way the trombone players world lights up when he’s wailing away, that instrument is so important to him and I love it!

Love the Cornet and Clarinet playing off each other line by line.

The old man on the left side, he stood and listened to the whole thing and was leading the clapping section after it ended. He knew what was up!

Always makes me smile when Shaye wails on the cornet.

I've watched this hundreds of times and am always thoroughly impressed

Great traditional New Orleans line-up. The clarinettist is outstanding.

So glad I found Tuba Skinny, I listen to them just about everyday!

I have been listening and enjoying NOL jazz for over 65yrs and Shaye along with Tuba Skinny have to be up there as the very best performers. The wonderful thing is that the years and increasing fame have not changed or dulled their abilities. I missed them when they visited Europe but I hope to get to New Orleans soon to see them out there playing in the street.

I always love going to New Orleans and listening to all the great musicians playing out everywhere
