I'm 81 and have lost all hearing in my left ear - and the highs are pretty much gone in the right one. But my brain fills in what I can't actually hear and Wyton and Eric and the whole gang makes life worth living - they are amazing and give me a lift like nothing else!

I’m 81, and boy! I was digging this joyous, gorgeous pumping of a good ole song!! I was ackcherly trying to play along, on guitar, and getting some of it okay. BTW, for musicians this is being played in the key of A (Clapton favourite) and that is unusual for horns and clarinet. A bit more difficult for trumpet, but this one is a maestro! 🙏🏻

Wow! Super band, super music!!! 👍👍👍👍👍
Wynton's (both brothers really)led/ lead the tightest band I have ever been privileged to have seen/heard. Me thinks the JVC Jazz festival (in NYC) was still going when this clip was shot. Shame great music like this doesn't enjoy more wide spread popularity in America-its homegrown! First recorded in 1928 by Bo Carter.
It must be so good to have someone love you. No matter how crazy you are…what a feeling that must be..
Everybody's just groovin along having a great old time .I love it !!
What a great "jam", could listen to it over and over ,a real class act
Wonderful!! What fun!! What a fantastic group of musicians!

THIS JAZZ GROUP REALLY HAS THE GROOVE! CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL! MUSIC TO DIE FOR FOR SURE. MANY THANKS FROM CANADA.
Clapton has always been in the Blues modal... searching and digging in the grass roots of the delta blues.. in the process he has paid tribute to Robert Johnson and other black founders of the blues..perhaps that’s why he ended up with this collaboration with Marsalis, a great Jazz musician always proud of the black contribution to the american Jazz as we know it today..
If it were any better, I couldn't handle it.

Suicide is not an option! That's why I drink wine and listen to some fiercely wicked music that you don't hear on your local radio station. Live is is to good to pass all this by, however sad you may feel, the light is not at the end of the tunnel, it's right here in front of you. Enjoy!

Hi Joanne💐💐
I miei complimenti c.castellano, italia
La emoción y pasión que transmiten estos Dioses de la Música, hacen vibrar el Alma !! Gracias infinitas🎼💖
So many great solos.
you cant just listen to this..you have to watch it too!
The best concert ❤❤❤
You Tube is awesome. I just stumbled on this video and I'm sure glad I did. I'm all over You Tube everyday (and for too long) and new discovers such as this makes for a real treat. I grew up with the transitor radio and buying records which was cool, but having You Tube at your fingertips is incredible.
Love this arrangement.......New Orleans SOUND........Wynton & Eric at your best!!!
...staggering. To collect such a group of virtuosos, all revelling in each others qualities, gelling so completely... quite something.

Always great to see people from different genres admiring each other's work.
When Taj Mahal gives you a shout out - what a show - you know you killed it.
ALL great, but LOVE that clarinet player!
Due to the minstrel connotations for about 90 years no self-respecting black man would be seen ded playing a banjo. Yet it is an instrument originating in Africa. Than you Wynton Marsalis for bringing it back with a vengeance.
I love the sound of Eric Clapton with an Es 335!
