Don Blankenship is a terrible human being and should still be in jail. He served a one year sentence for the deaths of 29 people. He should serve 2 years in prison for every life most due to his gross negligence.

The justices don’t want to impose the rules and laws that applies to the rest of us. When we have a system where “precedent” is more important than justice WE have a problem. Judge Merchan must make a new precedent. Put Trump in jail. I am not even saying for days. But he can start with hours. Let’s start with four and keep increasing the time accordingly. But at least APPEAR to be doing something which is better than doing nothing. 9K in fines is pocket change for Trump.

These protests do remind me of ours wanting to bring our friends home from VietNam. I joined them after my friend came back angry because it was clear to him we were being lied to and that it was a civil war and the Vietnamese didn't want us there. We, too, often got bad misleading press and had agitators joining us to make us look terrible. Turned out we were right. And I think most of these students are, too.

Difference is protesting the Vietnam War got US out of the war. Protesting the Isreal Gaza war is a pub crawl so the students can feel like they're accomplishing anything. Isreal doesn't care what students in America think, those students aren't their potential voters or soldiers.

Yeah it’s not antisemitism to protest Israel but a lot of these students who were arrested were preventing students from attending class and the library during FINALS SEASON (yah know it’s a school still and they are there to learn) and many of whom because they were Jewish. You can look at news reports to verify that as I did. That I will say is antisemitic.

There are 133 kidnapped citizens in Gaza who are being tortured and raped, arabs among them. Not to mention that among the 1,400 murdered Israelis of 7/10 there were arabs, or are you okay with arabs murdering arabs. The double standarts of the west truly know no bounds. Honestly the comparison of the protests to Charlottesville are pretty damn on point - especially considering the nature of the slogans that are being chanted. (How many call for the destruction of Israel and Jews everywhere?) Not to mention, The Iranian Regime & Hamas have applauded the current protests.

I didn't expect a talk show to be courageous enough to cover the protests against the bloodbath in Gaza. Kudos!

Every Generation should question the one that came before it, and be better. On a lighter note, this is a cry for help from Blankenship.

A $9,000 fine for all the broken gag orders is an insult to all Americans who clung to the fiction that the system was still working and there was still some semblance of law and order. Openly pissing in our faces and telling us it's rain.

Two things are clear. 1) trump has no respect for a legal system that he has duped for 60 years and 'falling asleep' is his way of showing it. 2) he thinks he has nothing to fear and in the Kabuki theater of this and future trials (if any) he's probably right. He's just mad that they're wasting his time. This 'act' shows contempt for the proceedings and he should be jailed for it instead of having to have his 'friends' pay $9,000 for 9 contempt citations.
