The Trooping the Colour back in old days was much spectacular compares to recent years, greetings from Taiwan, God bless the Queen.
Civilians couldn't comprehend the work that goes in to this spectacle.

As an ex Light Division soldier, RGJ and Rifles, I’ve always admired how the Guards do business. Steady on Parade!

We've lost 3 guards battalions that's why.

Yeah, starting falling post-2005 give or take. Really was after the 2003 Defence Review actually. Spending was quite under Labour for ceremonial quite a bit. Since 2019/2020 it starting going back up finally again.
I realize its not important but I've gotten use to seeing 8 instead of six Guards I hope in the new reign things will go back to the usual.

Interesting to get the background information (preparation etc)
this trooping isn't like the other troops, what was the change of direction at 54:06. normally it'll be straight forward followed by a right form

Yes, you're correct. He literally explains it, because of the Options for Change, the number of companies was reduced on the parade, so they tried something new, but it didn't work out.
This is awesome, only the grenedier and the coldstream guards are active in that day of trooping the colour

My general definition for you: Something is disbanded, but can be reformed anytime it needs to. A full "disband/disbandment" however, means that unit can't be reformed at all (it can, but in theory it can't).
Commentating was good here to be honest.

There wasn't any in when I joined in 1986 but the first one joined the year after, a gdsm Stokes if I remember correctly. I've nothing against them if they're good soldiers but the dropping of the height restriction is a different matter.
