I watch this today, 10 Sept 2022; 2 days after the passing of Her Majesty. I was a Guardsman in 1999, 1st bn Coldstream Guards. I was in 1 Coy; I was in the second row. It was my first year in batallion. It was one of the proudest shared moments of my life. I was born in 1979; I was 20 on this day, Elisabeth II was reigning monarch for the duration not only of my life, but that of my parents; however this day will always represent my fondest memory of Her Majesty's reign.
