She is an amazing ride. Two of the top three bikes I've ridden this year are Triumphs..not sure if this one is #2 or #3. Of those three this bike would be the one I'd buy...it would suit my overall needs best. Absolutely loved the ride and would really like to take it out on a longer run, 300-500 miles...or more. Wahoo!

@@ginoasci2876 Hmm, that's not good. I thought Triumph solved the oil leak thing in the '60's 😆 I haven't noticed any leaks but I haven't even washed the bike once yet. I'm gonna check tomorrow and report back.

Hey man, I love your videos and this bike. I'm very tempted. However I need your advice whether or not this bike is for me. This is a large displacement bike, and I know that displacement isn’t ‘entirely’ equal between bikes - it’s more about torque/HP curves and tuning. Therefore, I’m not convinced that this wouldn’t be a decent choice for what I’m looking for. I’m also looking at the speed twin in 1200. I know it’s the same engine. I'm not exactly a beginner. I rode mopeds for about 5 yrs when I was in my late teens. Always driven a manual car and recently got my US bike license. I haven’t owned a bike for years. I need a ‘one and done’ bike. I don’t have the luxury of trading up over time, so I'm asking you the following question. Could this be a 'one and done' bike? ie something I could use to gently get re-acquainted with riding, grow/learn at the same time, and never need anything else? I’ve sat on one in the dealership. I’m 5’9” 32-33 in leg. I can 90% flat foot it but I still may go for the low seat option. Please let me know what you think. Thanks again.

I love both this bike and the speed twin. One bike you might look at also is the 900 scrambler by Triumph. If I were to buy a new one today for myself it would be the 900 scrambler. It's more of an all-around drivable motorcycle. Has a lower seat height, I'm 5'8, and it cost less money to be honest. If I had to choose between the speed twin and the 1200 scrambler I would go strictly on wish for motorcycles I felt look better. The speech one is definitely faster but the 1200 scrambler ain't no slouch. Wahoo!

I was originally looking at buying the Speed Twin too. I decided I liked the look of the scrambler 900, so I went to the dealer to buy the one I had seen the day before, but just as I got there another gent was signing for it. There was the green XC which I tried, it was a bit tip-toes for me, (I'm 5'8'' with a 29-30" leg) but knowing that the suspension has to break in too, and it will lose about 1/2" after a while, which will suit me just fine, so I bought it instead. I wasn't sure at first, but after 200 miles on it this week, mostly commuting, I'm sold on it. I do have a Ducati for the track but this is going to be my do-it-all-except-the-track-day utility bike. Brilliant handling on the road, and superb motor in it. Even though it isn't broken-in yet, the first 4000 rpm are great 😁

Contacted the dealer about the flyscreen. Bike was a trade in and has been sold so we're not sure what the screen was. May have been stock or one added by the previous owner. It does look nice. Wish I could provide you better info on this.

"Could you ride it a couple hundred miles a day?" I've ridden a TW200 a couple hundred miles a day. A bike you can't ride a couple hundred miles a day is called a bicycle.
