I agree with what you said about the Bayformer designs. If a real life vehicle were to transform into a giant robot, they would probably look extremely complicated and have many parts like the complicated vehicles they take the forms of, and not be just a big blocky square robot

PivotCoasterVideos not to mention how they dont make cars exactly blocky and geometrical any more. All the new cares are angular and complicated looking so can you really blame them for not making robots g1 blocky anymore?

tonierpillow4 Yes you’re right. Most of the robot designs from 4 and 5 didn’t look like they would turn into vehicles, but most of them from 1-3 did for sure

@@pivotcoastervideos3551 Yeah. They got a bit too humanoid too. But I don't understand all the hate for the other Bayformer designs. Maybe they aren't all loyal to the originals, but most of them look awesome and realistic.

It's so refreshing to hear someone not hating on Bays take on the Transformers. Thank you Paul for being open minded unlike most TF fans :)

What I don't like is that all the cool characters die. Not to mention that shockwave didn't get the screentime he deserved. And bumblebee and Optimus are IP for no reason. I guess they have plot armor.

God I love Barricade's first movie design. The "To punish and enslave..." quote is dope too

No matter what anyone says, The live-action Transformers films will forever be my favorite films of all time! From 07 to Bumblebee, and beyond!

It's so fresh to see someone who is actually thinking about the realism of the movie designs. I get it, some are super ugly ( skids and mudflap). But some like blackout are really cool looking.

I still have the '07 movie version and the DOTM figure as well of Barricade, which are pretty decent figures, I don't see a huge difference between all the versions we've had, for the Studio Series and the Masterpiece version as well, but there's no denying how cool that Saleen Mustang looks, just as cool as the Camaro! Very cool figure and a very cool review as always, Paul!

I can understand your opinion about the design of the transformers in bayverse they look cool they look badass and alien looking but what i don't accept is that the humans have more scenes than the transformers

It's robots like these that make me so happy that you're on here cause the transformation to vehicle mode is quite a hassle

First video I’ve watched of yours in a while. I’ve fallen off of transformers for a while, ever since one of extinction where the figures started quality and were less interesting. But the studio series line is pretty decent so far, and has my interest. Glad to see you are still making great content and I’ll always remember the hours I’d spend watching your videos on figures I really wanted.

I agree with what you said about the Bay and G1 designs. With the recent announcement that Bumblebee is a reboot, I’m pretty sad. Not only are the Bay designs no longer going to be used, but, given where the brand is currently and what we saw in the Bee move, G1 is more than likely going to get shoved into the movies.

I had the same issue with my copy, but it turns out you just need to pull the top part further. The chest does tab in, at least for me

Yeah, man, growing up with the Bayverse (as repulsing as it can be at times) I've learned to take the concept seriously and become legitimately intimidated by decepticons and feel protected by noble autobots. G1 does a lot right but I find it very difficult to take it seriously. I think both have strengths and weaknesses, but the bayformers don't deserve *that* much hate.

Barricade is my favorite deception I have the human alience one but lost his head😭

Idk if im messing up the transformation or something but I find that the hood on this figure doesn't fit or go down all the way. It always sticks up. No idea what it is.

Elias Navarro I’m late but just got him today and mine has the same issue. Tore off an arm and leg from irritation but popped em back on. Great look but very anger inducing.

The good for my Barricade, came off same day delivered to me, anyway I can fix it? It stays on for a little bit after I put it on but it just Sways and really lose. I don’t know a solution, I thought of superglue or something but I don’t think it would move anymore. Any solutions?

after all this, thanks to you, I'll stick to my human alliance figure :) great review and I agree on the bay aestethics, but some robots a just ugly... I agree they are alien robots, but... why the chicken legs?

3:32 at least the ss barricade had the vehicle he had in the movie. That piece of crap on the right is not a mustang. Not evem close. I dunno what kinda drugs the designers at hasbro was on.

Dank Memer thank you!! I feel like I’ve been going crazy because barely anybody has pointed out that the TLK Deluxe Barricade doesn’t turn into a Mustang. Even the major toy reviewers (Paul, emgo, Baltmatrix, Peaugh, etc.) never even pointed this out in their reviews. The Mustang GT is such a beautiful car and it saddens me we got such a crappy figure that does it (and Barricades robot design) no justice whatsoever.

John_ Rustle i think paul and emgo has said it before that they dont know much about cars at all. And from that standpoint, i guess hasbro can slip the design pass their eyes. But me, im also a diecast collector, so i know a thing or 2 about cars, and to me, this is basically hasbro calling us all sheeps.

Does anyone know if anyone won a ford car from the studio series code? Havent felt like searching on google yet.

Cut your video presentations to 15-20 max so you're logarithms are higher when people do actually finish watching till the end...just my opinion...from a faithful subscriber

optibotimus Thank you, I’ll be looking forward to his video. I picked him up recently at a local Target and have trouble trying to figure out the best way to display him. He has some accessories but the instructions don’t clearly address them. I really enjoy your videos so I prefer them over anyone else. Also, thank you for taking the time to reply!
