@@PrimeVsPrime Idea for wheel hands: Wheels will have a hinge that will fold out the wheel to pass the bumper. Hands will have a peg that can tab into the back of the hinge piece. Wouldn't mess with current transformation because it would fit on the wheel.

Wave 5 is definitely knocking it out of the park! You can tell the engineers have improved and gone full out with just the deluxes alone. I'll surely get sideswipe, barricade and clunker bee as soon as I can. This is top notch!

PrimeVsPrime yeah WWII Bee is...neat...but I'm definitely not getting him first. (Especially since I missed the wave 1 bee) Better than """Crankcase""" though.

I like how they didn’t go with a faux chest and actually integrated the front of the car as Barricades chest. Helps reduce back kibble that way too.

PrimeVsPrime Barricade was actually one of my first movie figures when the 2007 film was around the corner. I want to pick him up but I’m waiting for the Siege line to get more in stock. Optimus is out of stock at Big Bad Toy Store and everywhere else is too expensive.

He has such intricate detail and is so screen accurate. Absolutely stunning.

He really is a spectacular figure!

OMG that weapon storage in car mode is hilarious! Very over-the-top as I'd expect from a bayformer. I always thought Barricade's weapon was stupid looking (although I love everything else about him) so I'm not that upset about it being pretty basic with this release. Barricade was definitely much more of a shatter/dropkick style decepticon who was actually smart and a bit of a tactician with a cool head (until it was time to intimidate someone), so I don't mind him not having much of a weapon. Can't wait to get this one as I just recently sold my MPM version. I also can't wait for Bonecrusher to complete the 07 cons! I wish they'd at least remolded a titan master or something to have Frenzy there too.

@@PrimeVsPrime He just didn't fit into my collection. I got him cause he was on sale and I thought he was cool but I decided I'll probably only get the original 5 autobots in MPM form and probably not the decepticons. Especially since this Barricade was shown to be so cool for the size and price!

You’re so lucky to get this figure early, in America wave 5 doesn’t even release till the end of January. Can’t wait to pick up sideswipe and barricade. Great review :)

Fantastic review, I quite enjoy these videos' style. Although I love this figure, I'm going to wait for a bigger KO of this since 30$ CAD for such a small deluxe is a bit much.

This barricade review is likely to be last studio series for this year. I am expecting Optimus and Bonecrusher next week however as it’s Christmas they may get delayed

PrimeVsPrime just to note, SS32 primes new engineering not only improves proportions (obviously), but it actually makes him taller, so he'll scale better.

This figure was re-released at Target in a two-pack with Clunker Bumblebee, however that version doesn't have the "To Punish & Enslave" tampograph on it.

Great review PvP. SS Barricade is without a doubt better than the TF1 and DOTM versions. Both this and SS Sideswipe will be great replacements for their DOTM Deluxe versions. Hopefully they will do SS TLK Barricade in the future.

I think him and Sideswipe are one the best figures in the Studio Series line

I'm having trouble with the car mode, When clicking all the tabs together, it's really hard because I have to put them all together without something else pooping back out, when I finally did, I realised he could drive/roll because his feet and crotch were bulging out from the bottom and pushing them back in forced the top and side of the car mode to pop out again...pls help!

Does anyone remember the Barricade that was released when the movie was released? I feel like the studio series a slightly smaller than the original Barricade and the original also came with a Frenzy figure that you can take out of his chest. Ah I miss those days

Does these studio series pvc rubber materials melts or gets sticky when room temperature is hot?

I know this is a VERY late reply, and i am sorry for bothering you (lol). I actually really like this figure and if you dont have the masterpiece because you cant afford it; you really should pick up this guy. I chose this guy over sideswipe and i dont regret it at all! The only thing that bothers me is the transformation. Everything needs to be sandwiched together and it takes along time for me to do so. Thanks for reviewing this sweet figure!

It's a nice water down version of mpm. Not bad, will definitely pick it up when it gets release.

Yeah, I admit it, this new Studio Series Barricade does seem better than the DOTM Barricade (even though I personally like that one myself). ☺

Love how detailed and indepth your reviews are! A little suggestion, though: The way you edit the videos is a bit disorienting in that there's too many unnecesary cuts. I'd would be cool if you managed to make more continuous shots.

@@PrimeVsPrime I think you should try, see whether you like it or not. In my opinion, unless the pauses are like fifteen seconds long or you really start rambling, you're probably going to end up with a smoother video if you remove the microcuts. But hey, just a thought. Again, awesome videos, specially on the opinion and analysis side.

So if I get this and sideswipe in the states it will cost me a total of about 40 bucks right?

On the plus side for you that you did not buy Crankcase because it is in my opinion the worst for it flies like.

Human alliance was a VERY good figure for its time. However I no longer believe it’s the best any more

The best figs from the new decepticons deluxe in 5 wave, its scale is in a rejoice ok because the Dotm version is too big in the car mode I will have to hunt for it.

So now you have to review Voyagers 😁

I have the mpm, so no real reason to buy this, but for those that can’t buy the mpm, this is great !

The face has some great painting and sculpting, but I feel that the rest of the figure is a bit lacking in terms of painting, and something that bothers me (more of a nitpick really) is that the shoulders aren’t as elongated as I would want them to be.

This figure is pretty awesome the only thing I don’t like is the fact that you cover up the nice headlights in robot mode with a black piece of plastics in vehicle mode

PrimeVsPrime sorry I think i May have miss spoke what I was saying is in robot mode you have really nice headlights that are painted but when you transformer him to vehicle mode you then lose the nice head lights because their is a pice of the vehicle that covers the light in that mode

As much as I like this figure, its transformation is a bit clunky especially the first time. I didn't know how to transform its snugly so the vehicle form ended up having some panel gaps and even the bumper bar tends to pop off and not line up with the lower bumper. Now I've gotten used to transforming him and managed to solve those aforementioned issues I had but there are still some issues with making him transform very snugly and tight.

Should I get this or the MPM version? 🤔

I’m gonna get all of the Studio Series from the first movie, starting with Jazz!

Did you notice that you have to push the thumb down until it snapped into place when you’re going to transform into vehicle mode? That will keep the back section without the gap.

Yeah I turned out I wasn’t tabbing the arms into the pegs on the thighs, it works fine now

Looks pretty good. I thought the legs were supposed to be chicken-legged, where the calf is in front. That’s just what I’ve seen from most figures and videos.

Should Soundwave be remade? They should re-release the DOTM canceled figure and redo his satellite/space cruiser mode, a small voyager with actual deployable minions. Haven’t seen that since Fall Of Cybertron. TFP’s has his as his chest instead of hiding away.

The figure is great but its a pain to line everything up for vehicle mode

Love the police car and robot looks great too. I got the MP figure, but plan on getting this. Also the weapon storage is so stupid but also hilarious.

The good for my Barricade, came off same day delivered to me, anyway I can fix it? It stays on for a little bit after I put it on but it just Sways and really lose. I don’t know a solution, I thought of superglue or something but I don’t think it would move anymore. Any solutions?

How do you get these early

If hasbro does release a 6 pack decepticon studio series Barricade might not have his “to punish and enslave” insignia because it didn’t have it with the clunker bumblebee vs barricade and if it didn’t come with that it might not come with the decepticon pack

The transformation is just like MP Barricade with dark of the moon voyager deluxe bumblebee

Watching this cuz nobody has a review of the decepticon 4 pack rn and mine arrived

Just got this. The rear bit on mine in alt mode can't go in all the way too so it doesn't sit flush. A bit of a gap at the rear as a result.

Yeah that’s the same with mine however I have noticed there are tabs on the outside of his legs that the arms peg into for vehicle mode.

@@PrimeVsPrime Yes. I noticed that too. The rear bit needs to be fiddled with before going into the final step to alt mode. I transformed it back to alt mode again and the rear sits flushed better now. I just did a stop motion video on this Barricade. Love it!

Took me an hour to transform him into his car form and it still isn't latching together properly...
