@@sharaishkapro2633 Actually Rampage is actually like Demolishor, he has a combiner counterpart that is...not actually him Skipjack, the yellow bulldozer, and Rampage are two different characters, like Scavenger and Demolishor are two different characters They just share the same body type and alt mode

Man I love the SR71. Did an essay on it for my Engineering GCSE. Got an A. A few fun facts: -The USA had to trade with the USSR to finish the initial set of aircraft - that were used to spy on the USSR. -The fuel used is also used for pyrotechnics in GoT -It has to be black to diffuse heat from friction at supersonic speeds -Special tools had to be created as the metals in the standard tools reacted with the metals the plane was made of.

@@Xolivas1 You know, when they said they were going to say facts about the SR-71, I thought it was going to be more like the basics! It's cool that your dad worked at Beale. I heard that was the main base for Blackbirds.

I haven’t seen anyone mention it yet, but that extra chest piece for Optimus is for the upcoming DOTM leader class Optimus. That one will have the DOTM abs but swapping the pieces will allow that figure to combine with Jetfire as well.

It is you. You have to be VERY PRECISE when transforming his legs/thrusters. You must make sure everything lines up EXACTLY, trust me, I was uber pissed when I transformed him the first time and his jet mode completely let me down UNTIL, I rotated his thighs just a HAIR, and everything locks into place. There are tabs on this figure that are not mentioned or shown in the instructions, you must find them yourself. He will completely flush together, you have to be super careful though. Cheers!

I love that they filmed the Jetfire scene at Udvar-Hazy center. The exact jet is in the same position as in the movie. I've been to that film location. It's a literal Mausoleum for aircraft

It’s beautiful, I have been about 4-5 times and I actually am planning a trip this weekend for my kids and family, it’s about an hour drive from where I live. Gonna bring my SS Jetfire and my son is bringing the original, because Daddy is a big kid and his son is a...well, kid. Lol!

One of the best looking Transformers toys ever made. This will be highly collected in years to come.

I would absolutely love to have this Jetfire, if only for that sweet Blackbird mode, that is and always will be one of the COOLEST Jet Designs of all time IMO, Too bad he's expensive for my budget, and that's not counting the overpriced old version =/.

This is where I come to reminisce all the transformers that I regret selling at the swapmeet as well as my star wars figures . I wish you could go back in time

I still have my ROTF Leader class Jetfire on display, he really isn't easy to transform, and not easier for his combined mode with Optimus, I think I only did it twice! I think one of the biggest drawbacks of the ROTF version is his lights and sound features, which requires a bigger body for the batteries and mechanism. The Studio Series doesn't have any of that, so it's more screen accurate and looks much better, the SR-71 Blackbird mode is just about the same, lots of kibble underneath, but that's something common for many jet Transformers. He had quite the role in ROTF, "This guy did not age well!" is what Wheelie said when Jetfire first transformed in the museum! Quite a great review, Paul!

I FINALLY GOT MINE THANKS AS ALWAYS FOR HELPING OUT WITH THE TRANSFORMATIONS OF THESE TOYS :-)

@@MeisterSchwabbo actually no it wasn't g1 beats prime by a mile since 1 prime doesn't represent g1 and 2 prime was too dark for kids while g1 balanced the dark and mature moments with the childish moments

When he came in for the rotf final battle his entrance was funny

I think the reason Jetfire comes with an extra of the ab piece is so that you only have to get Jetfire and that Leader Optimus to armor up that Optimus with Jetfire, instead of also having to get the second Voyager Optimus just for the ab piece. Basically, so you only have to get the two figures that necessarily have to be involved, instead of also a third figure that's very similar to one of the other two.

the optimus prime part is intended to be used on the DOTM jetwing prime figure. The jetwing prime doesnt have the correct abs for combinations so they included it here with the correct colors.

If it come with a piece of prime it is going to combine :) great video :D

The DOTM Optimus has a different chest piece that would not work to peg the rubber bits into for the combined mode. That is what the extra piece is for.

"In his absolute pain in the ass to get into SR-71 Blackbird mode" would be more accurate. With instructions I have not been able to get him completely into his jet.

2009 ROTF will always be the best jet, 2019 SS will always be the best robot form.

New chest piece from the jetfire is for the studio series dotm optimus prime. If you attach that chest piece to dotm prime, dotm also available to combine with jetfire. (Dotm prime is known as the leader class, but it's kind of voyager actually.)

Hey Paul. I was wondering, how come you haven't done any review of the Transformers Alternators that came out years ago. Optimus Prime was a Dodge Ram. Prowl was an Acura RSX Police Car. Skids was a Scion XB. Gridlock was a Ford Mustang. And Windcharger was a Honda S2000. They were my favorite transformers and I would LOVE to see what your review of them!

Well it makes sense that the pieces don't sit perfectly; it _is_ Jetfire after all :D

They gave you extra piece because if you only buy leader class optimus and then buy jetfire later they dont want you to have to buy a whole nother optimus just to go into combined mode, as dark of the moon prime as the weird abbs chest

I have the original movie jetfire....it has never been put back into vehicle mode....I have tried and tried and tried...so he has a permanent place on Optimus's back.

The extra optimus ab piece is solely for the SS DOTM Leader Jetpower Optimus because the DOTM Optimus design does not have that ab piece.

Optibotimus is right the legs is a pain in the but because it keeps un tabling it’s very annoying because when I got one for me and my brother the legs keep un tabling I thought it was his copy but it’s in most of the copy’s of the toy like my friend (sorry for spelling un tabling bad)

So Jetfire swooped in and cut Mixmaster in half where the waist connects to the Torso and then he put mix Masters upper half against a broken wall when he said "this is how we bring the pain in my day" and then he Stomps on mix Masters head cutting off mixmasters head as if the wall was those things with the big Axe and then you cut the string then the ax thing falls down and then scorponok shot up from the ground and attacked him and burrowed through part of him and then Jetfire took him off and and used his fist and just crushed the Scorpion guys head

I think your figure is the first I’ve seen where the wings on the alt mode don’t peg in together. That sucks :/
