Not just movie toys, power of the primes is just copy and paste bios. Studio series is somewhat better even though it’s just one sentence.

Starscream has always been one of my favorites, even the Bayverse one, i just wish they could have given him more of a character in those movies. another awesome vid dude

I got this guy recently on eBay…luckily you were one of the few KZreadrs who transformered from robot BACK into jet mode! Thanks for the help! More simple than it looked!

Probably not the best vid to put this on, but I wanted to make sure you saw this. I recently got an MP-36, and your review for it couldn’t have been more informative and helpful for transformation backed up with a great review in general. Yeah Optibotimus I think the New Studio Series Starscream is better than the Leader class version.

This Starscream looks pretty cool, one of the best I've seen in a while! These Studio Series figures are going to be a hit for sure! BTW, Starscream got his "tattoos" in ROTF, according to the graphic novel, he carved those himself in his fuselage, crazy, huh? But it did make him look very different from the other F-22 Raptors, very cool review!

I love how they're kind of remastering these older transformer models because the movie designs are my favorite

I am not talking about the 2007 Movie era - because TF has leapt so much forward since then in 'transforming' or engineering the toys ... but this is the Starscream figure we deserved such a long long time ago. Especially when DOTM deluxe Starscream came out. But this goes for all the Studio Line figures it should have been right out for the last 6 years. If it is not the correct paint and added detail ... it is certainly engineering or size wise.

The DOTM Deluxe was a good figure though, so it's not hard to see why Hasbro uses that blueprint when designing this Starscream.

@@N-GinAndTonicTM I think that's the most accurate movie screamer mold (excluding the MPM)

In the films, Starscream was actually a little _shorter_ than Prime. The special effects team wanted Starscream to be shorter than Megatron (who himself was only a little bigger than Prime), and the only way they could do that was to give him an incredibly broad torso and chicken legs.

After watching a few of your vids the last few days I went out this morning and purchased this figure from my local target. Needless to say I was not disappointed. I had the original waves back when they came out and sold em all. Instant regret. Tomorrow I will be heading back for blackout cos he was my favorite and finally, finally, after all these years they did a leader class. Keep up the good work my friend. I wish a reviewer would compare this figure with the previous voyager Starscream figures.

Personally, I wouldn’t have given away the leader class figure. He comes with a hidden gatling gun and missiles in his arms, and everything is well hidden. With lights and sounds and the missile pod launcher, he’s an awesome transformer.

This is such a good figure it looks so good and the transformation is way simpler than I thought

He's basically awsome upscaled and improved version of the DOTM Starscream . I can't wait to get him also the wholes are made to store the deluxes mechtech weapons or anyones in general. I also believe we might get him with his ROTF color scheme

I love the upscale retool of the DotM Starscream, it was really a perfect representation of starscream in is deluxe form

In my opinion, this starscream has amazing for Hasbro transformers nowadays. But if you compare him to an old transformer ( back in 2007) he has really good paint.

This is my favourite transformer, in every way from the character to the toy I love it

I had trouble following the 2D instructions, especially folding the arms into the bottom of the jet canopy. But thanks to your demonstration, I now know how to do it. It's really a fun transformation once you've seen it done :)

This one is so good... it even feels almost like a unique toys MPM or some like that... is my favorite starscream piece... best one out there

Got him Optimus and stinger yesterday at my Walmart. Was surprised to see them there.

I just got my revenge of the fallen starscream studio series, the tattoos on him looks really good in jet mode and robot mode but the one you got has a cleaner look and military look. Both of them are great figures for collection, I got mine with grindor in my collection.

I'm convinced. Time to order me one along with Optimus!

I just got this yesterday, and I love it!

My studio series prime and starscream arrive today and I’m very excited

You know, I find it weird that no one seems to mention the missing item that Starscream had. In the promo pictures and even on the Hasbro Toy Shop website, Starscream has this sawblade weapon. He doesn't have it in the toy that everyone got though. I kinda want that weapon too haha

Just got this guy Saturday along with Stinger and I gotta say this is guy is awesome. The transformation is perfect and in my opinion hassle free. Though o do wish that they went with the Revenge of the Fallen paint scheme ( I might be in the minority in that case but I really liked that version of Starscream the best). In conclusion aside from the leader class figures this the best one out of the series so far. Now just waiting patiently for Brawl lol.

A nother best review that I enjoyed very much .

I just got this! Super good.

so far i have the studio series Blackout, Grimlock, Starscream, Crowbar, and Stinger and they're all amazing

I'm feeling a little conflicted here; should I buy this version that's hitting stores right now, or should I hold out for the repainted ROTF Starscream with the tattoos and buzzsaw? I think both versions look great, but I'm not sure which one I should buy.

Nah, the saw came with the RotF version

in case you didnt know this is actually just a upscaled dotm deluxe class starscream with a few tweaks to his mould

Hey Paul, you should review Alien Attack Toys A-01CC EL CID ( AOE Optimus Prime), if you can. It's an movie acurate AOE Optimus Prime that actually transforms! It's complete dark sorcery! And nice review, these Studio Series figures are from a different level of cool. Have a nice week.

When I buy this figure when it's sold in Australia I'm going to use it as my Starscream in my transformers collection and I might put my Leader Class into storage because I like both figures.

I really am curious if you will be picking up the Roft version there making of this mold . Because the Roft one comes with the saw blade glad you reviewed him

I just got this and compared to the 2007 voyager starscream, and the 2018 one. OH MAN... 2018 STARSCREAM FOR LIFE.....

The transformation is just a blown up fersion of the deluxe starscream we got from dark of the moon

I just picked this guy up and I've gotta say he was right, it's a great figure

This is late but, the missiles on a F-22 raptor is kept in compartments, or inside the plane. Hence, the F-22 Raptor is a Stealth Fighter, all weapons are hidden, and keep a stealthy look, and a clean bottom.

Its pretty much a re paint of the dotm starscream but I like this one better because of it looks better with the paint :D so I might actually sell my dotm starscream for this one

Thanks for the video, got that one yesterday at Toys'r'us, great figure though my only complaint is that little ''belly'' piece which is kinda loose in jet-mode.

Great review as always dude, but I've got to disagree with you about the scale! There's no way starscream was that much bigger than prime, even in rotf when Optimus was throwing him about at best he looked about the same height! I think the studio series make great individual display pieces but their scale next to each other are a bit off!

Optimus is 28 feet tall, Starscream is 31 feet tall, so yeah Starscream is definitely bigger than Optimus. He just slouches a lot

F-22 raptors are huge. if starscream was real,he would tower over optimus.

starscream has always been the most interesting and good in toy form

Agreed, I love that one, and yes, the F-22 Raptor is huge, and represents an actual Raptor very well, plus in real life, the F-22 is bulky. I always keep mine in jet mode, and this one for robot mode.

Optibotimus' way of explaining how to transform the figure is almost like he is still confused on how to transform it.

do you know, if these figures are going to be released worldwide (as is was with the TLK toy line)?

I wonder if there's any credibility to the rumors that the Studio Series Voyager (RotF) Megatron will be almost as tall as a Leader class figure in robot mode... Meanwhile, this is a pretty cool piece, it seems. Surprised he has the new weapon (and didn't get two of it).

Smuckers Sammich I think that the previous Voyager Megatron figures were all good. Superior to their Leader counterparts, to a degree...except DotM Megs, who didn't have a Leader version and should've been better than what we got, and AoE Galvatron, who just wasn't very good. Hoping they keep it up for this line.
