I'm more impressed than disappointed with this guy. Wish the lower legs and upper arms weren't so boxy but the fact they managed to make a MACK truck, complete with non-mech-tech trailer, which scales with Optimus' alt mode that converts to a bot that (when hunched correctly by tucking the 2nd knee joint) is pretty much the same height as Megatron's previous RotF form is fascinating

Megaton was actually scary in these movies, like in the way how powerful he was and I think the size and shape captures that feeling perfectly

Finally, I knew at some point in time, we would get a Leader class DOTM Megatron! I didn't expect the hollowness of the truck mode, but it still looks quite good and menacing like in the movie, but the robot mode is the best mode of all for sure! When I first saw DOTM, I knew that Megatron was badly beaten by Optimus at the end of ROTF, but I expected him to be all repaired afterwards, it seems it wasn't the case, and he chose an Earth-based truck mode instead of keeping his Cybertronian jet mode (or Cybertronian tank mode), and did you notice how rough his transformation was in the movie? He really had a hard time transforming into robot mode, like he was more damaged than he wanted to show... Anyway, great review as always, Paul!

I was expecting you to compare it with the movie DOTM Megatron

I love it when the Transformers have some sort of cloth or capes (like that awesome third-party Drift that recently came out)

Optibotimus I know i barely subscribed but I been watching you every since I was little I think that makes me a patron

I love how a long, thin looking truck can turn into a bulky robot

The chest does clip in, really securely actually, just have to line it up right. And the chain is supposed to go under the cloak

I have watched these videos since I was 7 now I am 13 I no longer have any toys but I still love this channel

I just got the figure today, really nice, prefer him without the cloak, but still cool. Also gives me a bit of a Jason voorhees feel especially the chains.

Got Magatron today, when I saw how awesome the figure looked. I also loved the way my Prime figure (with his......stargate.....trailer) LOVE the figure. Hate the alt mode, which I cannot get 100% tabbed in still. Very unhappy with the vehicle. But damn that figure though! The hollow was made up for when I got home. G1 Astrotrain was waiting in my mailbox.

If you unpeg the torso in the front you can move the hips a lot more

I honestly wouldn't even mind if HasTak simply repainted the Voyager TLK Megatron with a more movie accurate paint scheme and maybe give it a Talisman Accessory. Though, I would image that some people might call it lazy.

I wish Studio Series Sentinel Prime with the five pillars, shield and sword. Meybe he will be leader or voyager but sentinel was taller then Optimus, Dotm op is leader but in fact he is voyager with trailer so maybe sentinel will be voyager idk Sorry my grammar. Im not from USA or UK..

saw this at my local walmart earlier today..the $50 price kinda threw me off. but still might pick it up.

Just found this guy at gamestop for 45$, pretty worth it but the spikes and hood are kinda warped from being in the package too long

in my opinion Dotm megatron is my favorite design but this figure idk its pretty blocky bit ill see how it i feel after watching more reviews on this figure

I prefer ROTF Megatron.

He looks awesome in box but it’s definitely not one of those figures that is going to last very long due to all those flimsy plastic parts he literally looks so breakable one little wrong movement will probably break him

I have the voyager class of this megaton and I like it better then this leader class, but this transformation is interesting.

Wow. Those middle wheels on your copy seem to be the floppiest among all the reviewers, man. That's some lousy QC, but I think the original DotM Voyager Megs had that problem as well...just not *this* badly. And I'm not sure, but I think that you're supposed to chicken leg him to get the whole hunchback look. A Studio Series TLK Megs would unfortunately most likely be a reissue of the Voyager or Leader figures, much like the TLK Bumblebee (Target two-pack), Drift, & Cogman...
