In the US consitution where it mentions liberal rights, it wasn't referencing societal freedoms. It was written as a protection for business liberalism. It has since been used to inspire a carte-blanch attitude to capitalism but not workforce rights and or necessities.

I look at it like…if the governments are afraid to regulate the rich and powerful And their businesses…because politicians are getting a lot of money from them…but politicians are not afraid of regulating and take away from the poor citizens. I just look at that as slavery without the label.

If we had Civics classes we could have taught students _How Fascism Works_ by Jason Stanley or similar curriculum. Then how when everyone votes this makes it harder for extremists to take over the legislature, even though on a personal level voting's a low-payoff activity. I've been saying 16-year-olds should be able to vote for school board members so they can directly see how voting and office-holders affect their lives. But if the state senate can take over an independent school boards to eliminate libraries and send troublemakers and minorities to in-school detention, then what?

In that latest Repubelican tax break, 83% went to the top 1% (Wealthiest Americans and corporations) and was made PERMANENT. Ironically, the remainder of 17% was shared among the 99% of Americans who will see the complete disappearance of those TEMPORARY tax breaks by 2025. Otherwise, Frump separated children from their parents at the border and minimized COVID by LYING About the danger of COVID and allowing the US to acquire 20% of the deaths worldwide even though the US Population is 4% - 5% of the world population which means that out of 1,000,000+ US deaths, 700,000+ US citizens died needlessly!!!! Bill Clinton had the US economy booming with jobs and his second term had a budget surplus that was paying off the national debt. If the financial trajectory of the US had continued with Al Gore (who actually won the presidency after recounts), the CBO projected a $1Trillion surplus in the US treasury by 2010. President Obama rescued The US economy after the Republican president George W. Bush who crashed it with 2 unnecessary tax cuts while simultaneously starting two unnecessary wars. The economy was doing great after Obama’s policies kept the economy humming including saving the US auto industry although he was obstructed from accomplishing much more for the American people by the radical Republican Congress. The orange idiot imposed tariffs on China AND our traditional allies which really meant higher costs for American consumers. Frump betrayed our Kurdish allies in Afghanistan to their deaths! Frump worships the communist dictators of China, Russia and North Korea. Frump and his daughter made business arrangements with China, including a $500 million loan for a new resort and plenty of patents for his sweetie, Ivanka. Conversely, Joe Biden has kept the lowest unemployment rate under 4% in the US since 1969 for the longest time, including creating nearly 1,000,000 manufacturing jobs (including microchip manufacturing) and increasing salaries for many. President Biden continues making great accomplishments that actually benefit the American people. (Except for Florida which is being ruined by Mo-Ron DeSATAN), inflation in the US is around 3% which is LEADING the ECONOMIC RECOVERY of the G7 from COVID. In 2.5 years, Biden has created 13,000,000+ jobs which is more than any president in history! This includes recovering ALL the jobs lost by Frump and a few million more. I am thrilled that President Biden has accomplished much more than President Obama, but Obama did start with a crashed economy and was obstructed after his first two years so Obama did correct the path of the US economy at the very least. I’m pushing 70 and have never seen such an incredible fascist failure and such an incredible amount of support for his loser lunatic behavior. It's heavy-handed for the state legislature to take over the school board. There was a story that was more subtle with a religious sect voting their people on the school board over several years of elections until they could essentially shut down the public schools the Blacks went to, first eliminating funding for after-school activities like band, and then cutting the budget for teachers, so seniors would be scheduled for 3 lunch periods and 2 study periods a day. Then they closed a building and sold it for a song to their private school organization. This all started because they didn't believe in separation of church and state and didn't want to pay taxes for the public school while also paying tuition for their private school.

The library and books were the refuge of so many people who are near and dear to me. Libraries have proven to be magic beacons of opportunity too so many in the past. Removing libraries and librarians from schools is patently undemocratic and seems plain spiteful.

It's a fascist-tactic. The supreme leader is the only one who matters and what he says goes. Any kind of authority that says otherwise is dangerous: a writer, journalist, librarian, teacher, professor, scientist, public health official, etc. and has to go. They've also found a magic word to disarm the opposition and get their way: "pornography" and used like "Giving pornography to kids!"

Will KZread ever realize that previewing videos by hovering the graphical cursor over their thumbnails (intentionally or otherwise) doesn't count as viewing them? I haven't watched about half the videos in my history and most videos I click on start midway through, all because KZread can't figure out how to play videos appropriately.

I appreciate the long hold on the picture of the gun with bullets while speaking about gun suicides, the irrefutable detrimental effects of racism, and other forms of gun violence. No visual distractions. Made me stick with the horror of the facts and the tool that helps create it

The appropriateness rating is scary. Everything about those texas education/library changes is scary.

7:18 strategy perspective the free grain was a well played move. From a global standpoint, I thought Africa was who needed the most international modern influence. Anything improves things for them. They can’t seem to use what they have somehow and oligarchs love gold, diamonds and uranium. The biggest problem the cultural influence everyone dumps on them for control and not independence…. You know classics like grain, water and religion.

"Pornography" is the magic word. And the beauty of making the bookstores and libraries self-censor is they don't have to define it or defend removing a book from the shelves. But if something causes offense somewhere to someone (white) they can jump on it when they're ready.

The cry of "bipartisanship" is either made by Republicans to make Democrats look bad, or it's by so-called moderates who don't believe in anything, and won't vote Democratic no matter what the Republicans do to our country or constitutional rights. What issue would a moderate go into the street (or on the sidewalk) to protest? Nothing, because then they'd be an extremist and no longer a moderate.

The woman who said "we're not going to read them all" was one of the plaintiffs suing because they *OPPOSE* this suggested legislation. She was not a proponent of the legislation.

At 10:15 Amy refers to gun suicides and the gun death rate in the US (Mostly suicides) increasing from 32,000 a few years ago to 40,000+ more recently. The Count of guns in the US was 300,000,000+ a few years ago and is now 400,000,000+!! How many guns are needed in the US when they already outnumber human beings?!?? With the US census of 2020 at 331,449,281, The US gun count is wildly out of control and this fact can, and will be used particularly by the fascist rabid radical right wing to claim there is a “lack of law and order” although actual crime rates have been going down through most of the country. They will frighten their followers by telling them the Democrats cannot control crime even though numbers, keep going down, except for suicides, which is the primary source of deaths in the US by gun.
