Another massive moment between the original two friends, Ted and Judge Fudge, is when Ted buys the house and despite everyone else telling him to sell, Marshall goes and has a barbeque with him. Wholesome and proof of the best friendship.

Robin being Barney's wingwoman was peak Bro friendship when they both didnt admit feelings for each other

When Ted tries to comfort Marshal after Lily gives him back his ring and leaves. That moment hits just as hard for me as the line "Until she got sick."

#4 Ted and Lily being honest about their feelings is really moving. It's hard to admit that you got hurt by a person you love and it's also hard to admit that being a mom is harder than you thought. Speaking it out loud in front of another person is incredibly tough and a great proof of trust in that person. ❤

Barney getting lily to come back and secretly rooting for them should be number 1

That’s not really underrated.

Lily and Ted's beer apology. There's a quietly powerful moment when Ted calls Lily out for leaving: "Because you've never apologized to me. Marshall's not the only one you walked out on. You leave for three months, you don't even call? Come on, Lily, we're supposed to be friends!"

Are we not going to address Barney getting Lily and Marshall back together? I mean; come on. Steal the women so Marshall didn't cheat on Lily or at least making Marshall not fell bad about doing it.

When you really look back on the show you realise that Barney wasn’t just an @$$hole, but was a genuine Best Bro to the other 4: 1. He went out of his way to get Ted, Marshall and Robin jobs with no strings attached. 2. He went out of his way to go all the way to San Francisco to convince Lily to get back w/Marshall. 3. He went on the Price’s Right, and got the two of them wedding presents for them. 4. He gave Lily a home to stay with, when homeless (albeit with Strings Attached, but still)

One of the best thing when Lilly doing. That she supported Barney, when he was in love with Robin in 4 season. And Lilly was the biggest shipper Robin and Barney

How is any of these underrated? They're all highlights and high points.

Better than friends

Best characters in the show were Barney and Marshall. Ted is literally the definition of “I’m a nice guy”, robin can’t make up her mind about who or what she wants besides never wanting kids and traveling, Ted can’t stop going back to what he can’t have. Lily tries to control her friends all the time (although she has her moments) and Marshall thinks about it Everyone else but himself 9/10. In some ways I feel like this show tried to be Friends and although some episodes in early seasons are good, let’s be real Ted is Ross. Robin is Rachel, Marshall is I believe Joey, and Lily is chandler

The entire show is my fav!!!

The time when Barney's coworker pretended to be in a relationship with him so he could win Robin over.... And when Ted helped in the final stage of that play (Barney proposing to Robin)

What about Marshall and his dad's funeral? Barney and Ted try to distract him and make him smile. Lily supports his mom and does everything she can for her. Robin is the go to girl all things needed like cell phone chargers and alcohol.

To those commenting on when Barney secretly told Lily to get back together with Marshall clearly doesn't understand this clip is about *underrated* moments. That part of the show was very significant and everyone remembers it.

Not only was the order out of wack, but all of the honorable mentions should have been on over some of your higher selections. Not a horrible list, but a bad list when you sit down and look at it.

My favorite moments are when Marshall calls out Ted for making out with a married woman, and when Barney keeps “stealing” girls from Marshall because he know Marshall and Lilly will eventually get back together.

Ted’s the biggest “I’m a nice guy” that ever was tbh. Lily is the next worse. She has to control everything and even though she has her moments, Marshall and Barney are the best characters.

Unpopular opinion: Ted giving Marshall and Lily the apart is so stupid and makes no sense!!! This is literally right after we found out Lily and Marshall were making bets on the others, and Ted, Robin, and Barney make no thought about it, HUH???! They should’ve completely cut ties with the two of them after that! And Ted gives them their apartment, WHAT?!?

I'll say it and I asume my words ... How I met your mother is better than Friends, Big bang theory, Scrubs, and so on ...

Lily is just... bleh
