    Very nice drills. One modification could be, in the defensive slider + jumper, let the ball drop instead of being on the ground. That will provide feedback on speed (# of bounces), and the movement of flowing from catching to jumping is more natural.

    Coach i have a problem with my shooting i always use my thumb on my guide hand. Is that okay to do ? If not how do i find it

  • @OneUpBasketball

    @OneUpBasketball

    2 жыл бұрын

    If you flick your thumb with your guide hand and it impacts to flight of the ball, I would suggest breaking that habit. Practice close to the basket with one hand shooting -- bring your guide hand 1-2 inches away from the ball (right next to it just like you would normally) but not touching the ball. Take the shot and make sure you keep your guide hand still. This teaches your body how to shoot without flicking your thumb. Takes lots of reps to break the habit. Good luck!
