Yeah bears have more stamina than any species of cat. As much as I love tigers 🐅 they do get tired quickly which is why they stalk their prey instead of chasing them

​@@McKurdiYes, but tigers do kill pretty big sloth bears, there are plenty of videos of that, but this one was able to wrestle well, not allowing the cat to get a death grip, and it's superior endurance won out in the heat.

LOL, man big props to that bear, small bear at that, it kept fighting no matter what, it took some bites & scratches but kept fighting and didn't become the tiger's meal!

All my congratulations to that brave Bear who fight for his life and survived !!!

That female bear used sheer will to save her sow to defeat that tiger. If she didn’t have a sow, she would most likely lose this fight. These sloth bears look unkept with their long hair - maybe an adaptation to surviving tiger mauls despite being relatively small.

To the others saying no way a tiger can kill a bear, there are many recorded counts, some for sir david himself, of tigers killing and eating these sloth bears. But on occasions sloth bears also kill tigers. Long as the bear can stay out of the choking death grip, it can outlast the tigers stamina. Luckily this was just territorial, a mother tiger with cubs in the vacinity, is much more ferocious and relentless. This bear definitely earned his life to keep.

That's one strong sloth bear. Got bitten from the neck and was still able to recover...

That's the power of a mom ❤

@@bxigtstreetboy nah, bears are very thick skinned and are foragers, so injuries will not prevent them from 'hunting' persay like it would a solitary predator like a tiger. Also these werent mother and bear cubs, these were juvenile male sloth bears, they roam in groups for protection. Older bears go solitary. Either way.. Im glad both walked away.. Human hunting/trapping, fucked their populations enough, they need to rebound. This was merely a territorial scuffle.

@@daliben6972 because the bear is fighting backm unlike the tiger preys who always run and stop fighting when caught. this is one of the reasons tigers won't survive in Africa, they can still stalk their prey but the animals in Africa are either too fast or too strong for solitary hunters.

@@roastchicken401 those smaller cats specialize in one thing. Cheetahs have speed and they catch fast but smaller animals. Leopards stalk its prey for hours and after that it needs to secure its prey by climbing trees. Crocs are crocs, just crocs. Tigers can't brute strength their way in Africa since most of their prey don't fight back. It needs to group to find a group or die. A lone cat it Africa is prone to attacks from Hyenas and Wild Dogs.

Jokes aside and in all Seriousness I’m well aware and respect that these can be Brutal fights between Tigers and Sloth Bears and Tigers sometimes kill Sloth Bears depending on how big the Sloth Bear is and for reasons that usually include Cubs. Sloth Bears will kill Tiger Cubs if they come across them and Vise versa for the Tigers which is why there are usually Fights between these two Incredibly Powerful Animals. I’m glad that in this Instance both Animals survived and the Tiger never managed to kill Baloo (Bear in Hindi)!

The tiger actually did a huge number on the Sloth bear u can tell by it’s wounds if u look close enough. The flesh is exposed which means it will get infected and the bear most likely won’t live long since it is now weak which makes it vulnerable but hey she did what she had to do for her cub

It's just the courage that helped the sloth bear survive. This teaches a great lesson.

The Bear is definitely BRAVE but it cannot match the FIGHTING SKILL of a big male Tiger 🐅! We can clearly see the wounds on the Bear’s chest but none on the Tiger.

The sloth bear was able to keep up, but it was way more enjured than the tiger (actually I don't think the tiger was enjured at all). I wonder if the poor bear survived the injuries. Even if it did, it was vulnerable to other tigers and bears for some time.

​@@yusufayaz2356 What are you talking about? Siberian tigers species are bigger than some Grizzly bears (because their size varies quite a bit depending on the region) and they weigh nearly the same. (Siberian Tiger can weigh 305kg and Grizzlies 340kg) Also, Siberian Tigers sometimes hunt smaller brown of black bears and are masters of stealth. I'm not saying the Grizzly wouldn't win (because they're basically the tank of the animal kingdom), but I don't think it would have an easy time fighting of the tiger, let alone kill it. Oh and desperate tigers sometimes attack elephants, so theres that.

The male bear came charging at the Tiger like it would any other threat. It didn't discriminate against who the offender was - He did what any apex species would, and make no mistake, the bear is an apex PREDATOR, he attempted to dominate his foe. This is honestly one of the few videos I have seen that I can safely say a tiger was not the one with more determination to survive and intimidate. T'was the sloth bear.

Tiger consider Bear as not a Predator but a prey that can fight back. Time to time they eat sloth bears, some tigers are expert some try for the first time like this

@@Kratos7686 Lions live in a band so they can take more risk because there will be someone who will hunt. Tigers live alone so if they can't hunt they will die. They are therefore more cautious than lions.

@RealBears are omnivores and not just meat. So if they are injured they still have food. But an injured tiger will not be able to hunt and die of starvation.

The Tiger had great wrestling skills but used too much energy trying to keep the bear pinned down. In MMA, you want to be on top of your opponent because your opponent is using up their energy resisting your weight. However, the bear had terrific endurance and the Tiger was too gas to attempt to finish him off. Great match.

A male grizzly bear can get up to as large as 1700 pounds. You’re right. A male grizzly is 5 time the size of the sloth bear. I tiger would be crazy to mess with a grizzly bear.

The Alchemist A Kodiak bear lives on secluded Islands south of mainland Alaska. They have never met in the wild. Also the Kodiak bear record is 1656 pounds. When they reach adult size they are rarely under 1000 pounds. The female is smaller. Siberian tigers do not live in Alaska, and definitely not on Kodiak Island. The Alchemist The Kodiac bear just on average is still bigger than the Ussuri, and the Kamchatka bears. The skull size differs from species. Short snout to longer snout. The kodiac bear is a very thick bear. If you take the average Siberian Tiger it will avoid a conflict, and as the article stated the bear will push the Tiger off its lunch. The Siberian Tiger for the most part is an opportunist. They attack bears in hibernation, but seldom stalk large bears. If we go biggest Kodiac healthy male bear against the biggest healthy male Siberian Tiger at 857 pounds. We are still talking almost twice the size of the Tiger. A big tiger like that could take down some male bears, but the Kodiac would be the biggest score of any tiger to bring down. They have massive thick necks that the tiger couldn’t break it’s neck. If it goes for the throat that extra 700 pounds would come in handy to pin the tiger down. I’ll just leave it to the old saying, anything can happen. The others bears have fallen prey, so maybe the Kodiac would too. We’ll never know until it’s been done.

I do not want to get involved in a fruitless debate with you all but to elaborate my point. All big cats try to avoid injury during hunting or fights. Ask any expert about this they will substantiate my point.

Tigers and Asiatic bears fight all the time. The tigers used to kills the Asiatic bears with ease, but the Asiatic bears evolved over time to be able to sometimes hold their own against tigers. It's common for a tiger to kill an Asiatic bear if it has the will to do so, or if there are two tigers. I have never seen an Asiatic bear kill a tiger.

В драках между тиграми и медведями гораздо чаще побеждают медведи. Даже этот маленький медведь победил, а тем более большие. Просто, если тигр проиграл( и не сильно переломан) он как правило успевает убежать от медведя, а вот если мишка проиграл ( маленький, или старенький или истощённый и больной) , в этих случаях они проиграют тигру и медведю практически не реально убежать от тигра ( тигр бегает быстрее) поэтому и найти убитого мишку можно чаще чем убитого тигра. Хотя тигры проиграют чаще, но и бегством они спасаются чаще.

You see tiger have to retreat, bear is omnivores it can eat anything specifically sloth bear can anything from insects , fruit,honey but same doesn't go for tiger . For survival tiger must hunt but if tiger get injured even a little bit that could be deadly for him

If it was mama or papa bear one lick to the tigers face would have tought it a life's lesson!

Breaks my heart to see a moma have to fight for her life to protect her child. She was valiant and stood her ground, but she was severely injured. Who knows if she was able to recover. At least the cub looked old enough to strike out on its own if it had to. Hopefully it learned to take care of moma while she recovered.
