I don't like people flashing lights at animals and disturbing their natural life. Rather use night vision cameras.

@@k.m.f369 Because people are always close to animals to film them, the lights definitely have an influence on the hunting behavior of animals because they know this very well. From 300 meters away he might never have seen the leopards, but he can see the car lights very clearly. It's a shame that people don't just leave the animals alone at night instead of shining a light on them.

Interesting to see how spotlights make a mess of everything. Leopards are very intelligent and know the areas where lions would not frequent. That kill was probably stashed in a tree where the chances of lions stealing it was low. These safe areas keep shifting of course. The leopard that was resting on the ground too would have been resting at that place knowing it was relatively safe. Plus in the natural pitch black state of the forest night, you can find documentaries shot with night vision that shows how lions walk just meters from prey without sighting it. But here, in the pitch black forest night, spot lights shining up on a tree would have been visible for miles. Lions and other predators such as hyena clearly associate vehicles and spot-lights with potential opportunities. So in essence, not an actual natural occurrence, but a dangerous situation for the leopards created by a bunch of folks with spot-lights creating a mess out of natural order. Which of course, will be denied by the people concerned. "Lion will definitely chase her if he sees her" - Of course yes, if you keep shining your spot-light on her!

In fact, the King appreciates those leopards for providing a free dinner!! No confrontations and everybody is happy!!!!!! I have seen in many cases that the Lions show much interest in killing leopards rather than going for their carcass, the urge to eliminate the competition is very high among the Big cats!!! Lions hate Hyena, and other big cats like Leopard, and Cheetah, given an opportunity they always want to kill rather than steal their food!!!!

The male lion tends to kill any predator at every possible opportunity. It is not enough for him to grab the food, while predatory hunters tend to avoid fighting and confrontations, such as the lioness, cheetah, leopard, and tiger. We have seen many male lions who have been injured in a very violent and serious manner, but they continue despite this because injury is a normal thing. In the life of male lions, even the lioness, which is considered the second largest predator in the forest after the lion, but she avoids fighting and confrontations as much as possible because she is a predatory hunter. In contrast, the lion stands in front of an entire clan of African hyenas, which are among the strongest wild predators.

She knew exactly where the lion was, she also knew he's chomping away on her steal, maybe she was hoping he'd give it back.
