Nope, badgers are tough and can take attacks with very little damage. That's the difference.

This video should be used as a motivational tool in learning about never giving up and fighting through adversity. This Badger I thought was dead when it was in the grips of the python, somehow it got out of that predicament only to have to still overcome the snake but fight off two additional predators who were trying to benefit from its hard work. A true lesson in resiliency and tenacity.

everybody gets this video the wrong way. the case is not, that the python attacked the poor HB, but that the HB attacked the python but the somehow the python got a grip on the HB. of course the HB has a very thick skin/coat and is very strong, so he got himself free and dthen killed the python.

Honey Badgers are absolutely amazing creatures. They're also ferocious enough to fight off just about any other predator. They're highly intelligent, fearless & almost indestructible. They can be killed but even lions won't mess with a really angry honey badger.

For the honey badger this was probably the least craziest part of his day. Probably went on to fight a pack of lion for their kill and ate an elephant from the inside out and then calling it a day by Swimming with crocodiles.

I think I could watch honey badger videos all day. The badger was smart to drag the snake into the bushes where even the jackals would be afraid to go into.

I am so glad the badger won!!! What a turn of events. I was so sad for him getting squished and bit by the python. If it hadn't been for the jackals distracting the snake, I believe he might not have made it.

Even a tiger or lion would run away after escaping from the python grip but honey badger got some serious balls to re attack it

Nature can be cruel at times but this badger fought the python and deserved to reward. It was nice to see he won in the end.

Honey badgers are tough cookies. It is amazing that this badger managed to release itself from the grips of the python. Subsequently the fight was between th e badget and jackels as two whom would "own" the carcass. Great video.

I never knew what a Honey Badger was until tonight. It's now my new fav animal!

Idk what those Jackels were thinking? Even multiple Leopards and Lions can struggle with a single Honey Badger. Two Jackles never stood a chance of getting anything after the Homey Badger escaped the Python

I for one thought that Honey Badger was a goner. That was a Rock Python which get VERY BIG and are nasty snakes. But i think the Jackals saved the day. Even though the Badger wasn't having any of them stealing his reward. Once the badger got the back of the snakes neck i knew it was over. They have IMMENSE jaw strength and very strong claws. Nature surprises you at every turn. Great video footage.

Went from being choked out to winning a 1v3. What a beast

Those African badgers are amazing animals, they are actually designed to hunt snakes and be able to fend them off, they have very thick skin so most flesh wounds don't bother them. The fur coat is loose on them, so they can get out of almost any predator's grip. Amazing to watch this guy scare off two grown jackals, too.

They take full prices of lions and hyenas on not that they’d kill the lions or hyenas but they threaten them enough to the point where 80% of the time the honey badger gets away bcuz the lions give up (big cats aren’t use to encountering them and having them actually fight back)

@@allengeorge5364 they are usually rescues, a lost pup being found, that sort of thing. I doubt they make good pets. Any animal can be tamed but taming doesn't equal domestication. We have been killing bitey dogs for thousands of years to make the species more docile and my cheagle will still nip at my mom if she tries to get him off the couch.
