My Mum and Her Condition
I may have taken the name of an angel, but if anyone deserves that it would be my mum. She is my angel and always will be. This year we have been struck with her diagnosis, malignant cancer, high grade (Stage 3) which has already spread to the lymph nodes. The cancer mass is 6 cm in size and is currently inoperable. My mum is now doing chemotherapy in the hopes of reaching a point where she will be able to have surgery.
Her Young Pictures
My mum is in her late 70s. You may notice I've only used pictures of her when she was young. That's because that's how I see her. As soon as my wife Kenzie and I heard the news we flew back to Italy from the US where we live now, and the first thing she told us as we hugged her is that "she is no longer beautiful". She is. She'll always be. However, as a token of that, I share her how she would want to be seen and remembered, so that the beauty in her youth may match the beaty of her soul.
Why am I doing this?
My parents gave me life. Watching her ever present smile being taken away, as every morning and every evening she goes through pain is a lot to process. On top of that, she shared with me her financial preoccupation due to the continuous expenses for the 24/7 care she needs at home, on top of her worries for her own life. She is also worried about my dad Lorenzo, who in the case of her passing, would have to rely on his minimum pension to survive.
We don't come from money but we are happy with what life has given us. With difficulty and sacrifice, my parents helped and supported me through my studies, and I never felt anything but love, care and true understanding from them.
The least I can do is to look after them in these times of need and do the best I can as a loving son to be there for them and take any worry they may have away.
Important Note
For any international donor, particularly those in the USA, please understand that Italian health care doesn't reach the costs American healthcare does in the case of cancer treatment. I don't want to be misleading in anyway towards you.
How Will The Funds Be Used?
I want to be 100% transparent with any generous soul who wishes to help during this time. I wish this to be an informed decision in the spirit of clarity and truth. Any funds raised will be used:
To cover the overall medical costs for her treatment
To have more options for specialized care
For a Possible Second opinion by specialists
Private care instead of public system to reduce waiting time
To pay for any home care 24/7 she needs
To pay for private nurses (She needs them 3 times a week)
To also establish a fund for my dad's support
For possible funeral expenses
To make her more comfortable
Last in importance, to help my wife and I keep coming back and forth from the US as often as we need, so to help us too for our flight expenses
This would also allow me to slow my production a bit when needed to focus on my mum, stay at home more, taking her to all her appointments but still allowing my wife and I to remain stable.
To my subscribers
If you have been following my channel you'll know I have recently raised funds to help children with cancer, with my plushies, which I donated to Saint Jude's hospital in Tennessee. When I started the fundraiser I had no idea this would have happened to my mum. When I made the donation I was already aware of her tumor.
We are even more proud and happy with that donation we gave, because as a family that fundraiser now gained a whole new significance. Our desire to help has grown. As her life slowly fades away, may new young life gain hope. We wanted to turn our pain into joy for families who are fighting cancer for their children. We wanted to help others first. I am sorry for asking so much from you, and I thank you for your true selfless generosity.
From All of Us As a Family
As a family, we thank each and everyone of you for your kindness. I know many people support me and have shown in the past great generosity, but please don't give beyond your means. Little donations will help too, anything helps. Only give what you are comfortable with.
Thank you from our hearts,
Raf/Metatron, Kenzie, Lorenzo and Wanda

Dear Raf, The current mainstream ways to fight cancer are cutting it (surgery), burning it (radiotherapy), poison it (chemotherapy), or attack it (immunotherapy). I won't go into details, but let's just say most of those treatments have more side effects than benefits. One of the approach that isn't well known is to starve cancer. Cancer cells have a mutated regulation and only feeds on glucose / carbs. Trials that have coupled treatment such as chemotherapy with a very low carb diet yielded way better results on cancer. Hit me up if you have questions. I hope your beautiful mom recovers from this ordeal.

It is important to gather memories, it will be for your future family.

My father died of cancer two years ago, I was 16, and in all my years he was my best friend and the person that I spent the most time with. Now, it is hard for me to remember his face, I still remember his voice, his warm embrace, but his face is hard, partially because of the hard fat loss that he took in his last fays, he was more like a skeleton from a jolly not fat or chubby but close enough fellow. Naw pictures of him are very alien, except his smile, eyes and hair, those were the same.

If you can feel his presence, or remember him, he is right here. According to Einstein and the illusion of relative time, time is a landscape where even those who seem to have left us, very much are still here, just over a horizon we can't get to yet. The fact that you still feel his love, means that you possess what is I'm sure his deepest essence, the part of me I'd hope to live on. My love for my daughter.❤

Thanks Metatron. My Mum had ovarian cancer. Sorry I can't send you more. I believe that because time is relative, the past, present and future are an illusion, as Einstein wrote to the widow of a colleague. At least, they depend on the observer's perspective. All events, including our lifespans, are eternal. So in a way, your Mum is eternally as she was when she was young, as you show her in the photos. You do not have to be religious to pray. God isn't in any church or temple. He's not served by human hands. You found Him trying to help someone in need. You find Him by being kind, patient, loving, honest. He is near all of us without the help of any organized religion. The Bible is very clear on that. Jesus loves you. So does God. When you pray, They hear you.

It's always good to give back if you're able to, but choosing not to donate because you believe all charities are bad isn't really fair to the ones that are actually deserving of your generosity. Rather than take their word for it, you can always conduct your own research by reaching out to ask detailed questions or ask that they provide you with financial records, like their form 990 filings with the IRS for example, which provides detailed info about a charity's finances, including how much they spend on programs, administrative costs and fundraising. A reputable charity will be happy to discuss their finances and programs with you and won't hesitate to send over financial records that donors request. If you don't want to or don't have the time to do the research yourself, there are several organizations you can reference instead that evaluate and rate charities based on various criteria, including financial health, accountability, and transparency. Some well-known ones include: Charity Navigator, GuideStar, The Better Business Bureau's Wise Giving Alliance, and CharityWatch.

My father is at his end. I went 25 years without talking to him, all based on lies told to me. A little over a year ago, I reached out to my half-sister to see if they even wanted to talk to me. To my suprise, they were eager to reconnect. My father kept it from me, but after talking to him for a while, I caught on. I didn't say anything as I preferred to have him breach the subject. He had a tumor removed last February. Told completely cancer free. September, he wasn't feeling great and went in to have it checked. Told that they thought he was cancer free. Stage 4, end of his life. Life can be completely wonky, cruel, great, and awesome. It can be the only one to live.

Their development as women and specially men is seriously jeopardized. They are aberrations from the point of view of natural selection. They have the emotional and social biology of a child, which, since they are adults, makes them infantile, insecure, immature and sexually disturbed. Just because it's "normal" in some places doesn't make it right. Lots of things, throughout History were and still are "Normal" and they are completely revolting and sick.

Agreed, plus you have no idea what someone's situation is and in my opinion it's much better to leave when you're 100% prepared then to leave early as shit just because society says you should and struggle unnecessarily for years until you're settled if at all. As if struggling is mandatory to becoming an adult 🤷🏻‍♀️ FYI i'm American, left home at 17, and it was a HUGE struggle still is. Had I not grown up in an abusive home I would've loved to live at home for longer would've given me such a better start to my adult life 🤷🏻‍♀️ Breaks my heart that society puts so much pressure onto people to not only move out ASAP but also to live their own lives and in turn leave your family in the dust (sometimes out of meanness but sometimes out of just genuinely being busy) and god forbid if someone doesn't fit that bill they get shamed like here. Lost count how many times I and people I know had regrets about not spending more time with their mom, dad, and other family members especially if they passed away, wished they hadn't of left home so early, wished they hadn't of moved so far away, etc. As someone who loves history it's so wild to me how in such a short amount of time we went from being so family oriented, children either living at home well into adulthood or for their entire lives, not having to work and simple chores and helping run the household sufficed and sometimes even that wasn't required, being a community, etc to not being family orientated, having to move out the literal day we turn 18, even before we turn 18 from ages 15/16 we're expected to get a job learn how to drive and plan for our future so essentially that only 17 year childhood we get turns into maybe 13 or 14 if we're lucky almost half of which we won't even remember anyways, kids being pushed to grow up way too soon, etc. 🙄
