Metatron METATRON/Raffaello! ti scrivo in italiano perchè guess what, I'm italian too.

I'm a new viewer to your channel, but in just a few short months i think i've watched ALL of your videos up to date. I love the way you present the evidence for your statements regarding your debunking videos or just informational series. What you're selling isn't just information regarding history , its YOU who makes your series excellent , Your charisma , and your passion for your subject. If you ever need some physics verification for physical situations, like a certain density of steel or bronze colliding with some other metals or materials, Or really Anything to do with physics or the natural world let me know and In your future videos You can quote data from an actual Scientist to help Silence some of the outrageous comments against your videos. Feel free to send me an email. Keep up the good work Raph, -Noor

My belief is; your early life having your father and mother at home with you, their love and attention gave you a foundation of confidence and self worth that afforded you the ability to overcome your illness in your teens and succeed to the Mensch you have become. Metatron, thank you for all you do. You are truly an exceptional human being on this beautiful planet. You are beautiful inside and out. Keep spreading your wings, Metatron.

+Metatron If you want a testament to how well you learned English in England... It took me 2 months to figure out you are in fact born Italian :P Not because I didn't look it up, but because your voice, and the way you speak has a definite British undercurrent. The only time you can really hear the Italian seep back in is when you're excited and speak fast, but when you speak at a normal tempo, It actually sounds quite distinctly British.

And I'm looking forward to what's more to come! I don't think you are on the end of your journey yet. I do say this because I'm in my late forties now (so much for the young audience...) and what I' ve learned, changed and revisited in my life so far - and I'm not on the end of my (learning) journes yet too. Thank you, Mr. Urbani , for spreading your wings and sharing a glimpse into your life which, incredibly enough, is strangely similar to mine, including a very serious disease in my teenage years, me having no friends and being shy at the same age as you, and working as a language teacher and translator (in my case it's English, Spanish and Japanese). Edit: I have also trained in various Martial Arts and travelled the world (I actually met my wife in one of my travels). Even though I don't know you in person, this video has shown me that no matter how difficult your life is or how lonely you feel, there is always someone in some part of the world having experiences similar to yours, and that is both comforting and inspiring. This seemingly "simple" video is not only telling your story, it is also a documented fact on how wonderful and strange life is, and how we are all connected. Thank you from the bottom of my heart and you have my eternal respect. A huge hug from a fellow student of life. Your name is Rafaello Urbani from Italy, my name is Malcolm Sohm from Argentina. Thank you and continue to spread your wings, may the fire in your soul always burn bright.

Great video! I must say, you have a very interesting story and after discovering your channel a few days ago, it has quickly become my favorite channel. I share many of the same interests, but I have not pursued them nearly as much as you have. I'm starting to think that being able to completely immerse myself in things like the martial arts, the samurai and ancient civilizations might be just what I need. As kids, we're able to lose ourselves in our imaginations. But for some reason, it's harder when a person gets older. If anything, your videos have reminded me that it is possible to immerse oneself in completely different worlds while still carrying on with daily life. Thank you for this great channel!

Amazing story, Raffaello. I think the fact that you have been through so much good and bad, and experienced so much explains why you are such a great KZreadr and person. I love hearing your thoughts on things. It sounds as though you, like me, love just absorbing knowledge and learning from it. I wonder if because you went through so much with your illness in your teenage years that it made you have so much empathy and humility, especially towards others. When I was younger I had an illness that could have killed me, but i was only sick for 6 months before recovering and i think this has shaped me to think about others and respect the feelings of others, as well as instilling in me a work ethic of just getting things done. Keep up the good work and I love hearing about everything that you have an opinion on.

Hi Metatron! Thanks, I found this video very inspiring and in some ways relatable. I currently have an illness that's been giving me a lot of pain, nausea, and exhaustion every day. Video games have kind of been my escape, a way to get the legs to run on that I don't have in real life, and now I've gotten this fascination with video game design and development. So, I've been pushing through as best I can. I finally finished university, albeit a little late, and now I'm studying animation along with some java and python for programming. I like to hear stories like yours because it helps encourage me to not give up, especially on the really bad days with my illness. Since you managed to make it through, then I will too! Thank you!

I actually enjoyed watching the whole video, despite the dark parts. As you said, we all live through such things, and they make us who we are. You DID mention hating translation work, but I think it depends a lot on the company you work for, whether you feel that you're being compensated fairly. A lot of the companies don't pay translators properly for their time, which can be massively demotivating... Thanks for another great video, Raph. You don't really need that much editing, and it was kind of cool with the clothes and background in the same colour. Put more focus on your face, and what was coming out of your mouth and eyes. ;-)

This is like hearing a parallel story of my own life as far as the enduring physical pain and using my love of armour / history /weapons as an escape from the hell that is my body. This is so inspiring to me, thank you for sharing your story.

Pain sucks, but it's a strange situation when we get used to it... We learn to handle and endure it. It's a strange realization once you get there, that it's... OK... Even though we know it shouldn't be like that.

zakback99 Both... It's a weird thing that we can get used to things we know should hurt us, to the point that we can deal with it without experiencing the pain as intensely as it was originally.

+LightNessITA I'm one such people, specially when it comes to sadness. It's very easy to put me laughing, utterly impossible to make me cry of sadness. Although tbh it has pros: You learn to think before you act and even anticipate certain outcomes.

Raphael (Metatron) I think you have been one the the most inspirational people that I have ever listened to. your so grateful for what you have been given and even looked at years of pain a learning time, that takes a lot of wisdom. thank you, I have been learning Thai for over half a year and I kind of didn't think I could follow it through, but now I think I have enough inspiration to continue learning it. thank you very much

Awesome video! I don´t usually comment but, during my teen years i did do kyokushinkai karate for about 7 years, it is very inspiring how you can contact a culture through a fighting style and a set of moral principles. It was hard on the shinbones sometimes but it was worth it. Your channel has inspired me on several occasions and i wish you well. Un Saludo desde España.

Very good video. You make a good point about the fact that a languages degree doesn't just teach you to speak another language - it also gives you an excellent grounding in writing about history, geography and comparative cultures, among other things. This is so true and also a good reason why languages students tend to be very well-rounded individuals in the academic sense.
