All she wants is attention or a response. Her personality disorder also makes her more prone to the Dunning-Kruger effect. She will automatically believe she is more intelligent and "correct" than anyone who holds opposing views. Her ability to learn is, sadly, curtailed by her own arrogance. Narcissists are experts at persuading the vulnerable that they are righteous and everything else they claim, however.

Horrible education standards and generations of anti-intellectualism, coupled with mistrust of institutions are the problems here. Her worldview is just a symptom of the ignorance encouraged by systems that really only want to produce obedient workers/consumers/taxpayers that don't question authoritarian overreach. It's a two-fold problem, since many people who lose trust in institutional authority seem to sometimes lose it across the board, rather than identifying what sort of institutions should be trusted more than others (historians and scientists vs corporate advertisers and government entities in the pocket of corporations). It's a case of throwing the baby (knowledge/data) out with the bathwater (information/content) the way many people do when they renounce their religion (going full atheist and throwing the spiritual baby out with the religious bathwater).

Plus, it was never "Trump's" and isn't "Biden's" America, it was always supposed to be "Our (We the People's)" America, but sadly we are no longer a Republic, nor were we ever very democratic... nor does it seem democracy will make its way into our economy in any meaningful way in terms of current trends.

Something that fascinates me is that despite the popular opinion, communism by it's nature in any large scale would be authoritarian and as such would adopt key ideologies of fascism so in fact they aren't polar opposites but closely related ideologies and furthermore because of certain organisations that preach anti-fascism having involvement in promoting authoritarian (& thus fascist ideas since authoritarianism is a generalization of fascism) there are many people who dissassociate themselves with them now e.g: multiple friends of mine who despite being "members" of the LGBTQ organization in the eyes of said organization absolutely despise LGBTQ because of their hypocrisy & as such they are seen by the members as fascists - I find that hilarious.

I appreciate the sentiment behind this; but I also see a degree of "danger" in it when it's applied on a mass scale. Many people believe that others are stupid just because they share different world views or disagree on some contentious points. The increased polarisation that's being seen in a number of western countries is at least partly due to less communication between people. Why do I need to argue/converse with an sjw? They're stupid. Many Italian (and Sicilian specifically) immigrants were discriminated against when they moved to the US for better lives. They were not allowed to label themselves as white in the 1800s. It goes to show how nonsensical it all is.

Thanks for being clear about this cultural silliness that is grinding away chances for real learning, free of group bias and name calling. It's very hard to not be badly irritated by the injustice of it. I'm a white Nam vet that worked, fought, and lived in quarters together with blacks, and the skin differences seldom became an issue. Her type of mentality has been taught for decades (usually in American schools), but now the internet gives them their soap box to preach from. I remember one of my earliest memories in school (probably First Grade) was being called a nazi by a kid because I told them my mother was an immigrant from Germany, and that kid assumed that all Germans were nazis because that is what their parents told them. The kid kept calling me a nazi until I cried. It was actually such an issue apparently that the school called in that kid's parents the same day and they had a talk about it. That kid never talked to me again, he eventually trasfered schools and I haven't seen him since, over 15 years later.

@@CertifiedSunset I see this a lot, same thing claimed about UK schools too and I frankly don't see it after being involved in schools. Maybe it's particularly bad in the US or it's contained within a very specific part of curriculums or specific schools trusts/book publishers.

@@mattjk5299 When I say American Schools I primarily mean the North West US. Which has culturally shifted much more "progressive". I'm only speaking from what I've experienced and what friends from others states have told me. For reference the school I attended in my story was an Elementary School in Oregon. The school was shut down some odd years ago.

As an Austrian with many relatives left who have served in the Wehrmacht during WW2, I couldn't help but do a little test here. I went to my 95 years old grandfather and told him that I would list some deeds of a person and he would have to guess which person I'm talking about. I listed the following things: -making false claims about history to prove his/her point -publicly discrediting certain races and mindsets -publicly discrediting intellectuals and their supporters -knowingly spreading false claims to undermine the credibility of potential opponents -spreading lies about an ongoing conspiracy and presenting him/herself as part of the solution My grandfather's answer was, "Well, that has to be either Joseph Goebbels or Adolf Hitler himself." It's funny that this woman has the audacity to call other people fascists.

Being systematic and to the point is good if youre tring to convince a third party observer but its pointless if youre trying to change the ideologue who accused you. We need to stop trying to be "grand" and start doing what works. Reason only works on reasonable people. Character assassination is what works on UNreasonable people. I think her comment about England and the UK is really low, offensive and shows her ignorance. Here in the US, a lot of Americans have never travelled outside the US and know nothing about other countries. She is right about US being a large country, but we have a lot of empty land in areas and the population is spread out. Bigger doesn't mean better. Also, let's not forget the British Empire which covered over 25% of the modern world was many times larger than the US. So yes, she's completely wrong altogether!

@@adnaansheikh1 the only time that map comparison is anywhere relevant anyway is when we talk about how the earlier made maps for marine navigation distorts the planet (the further a land is from the equator, the larger it becomes on a flat map). or, when we compare the US with Europe. someone said a good comparison: you can drive 4 h and still be in Texas while here the same amount would bring me three countries and four languages away from home.

@@sztallone415 I know that type of comparison really only works when discussing travel and commute times and stuff. A 30min to 1 hour commute is actually pretty reasonable in a lot of the US. In more rural areas that could be considered very short. I mean 4 hours of driving for a basic day trip to a beach or lake isn't unreasonable. I'd imagine in most of Europe that would be a ridiculous amount of driving for a single day.

People like this woman go after people who speak the truth, they try to change things just because her thoughts and beliefs are opposed by fact and evidence, her arrogance on the subject makes it difficult for her to accept harsh realities of history. Usually people, who call you -ist/-phobe, are -ists/-phobes themselves. Their -ism/-phoby is just opposit: (pro-)female sexist calls you a male sexist, (pro-)African/Asian racist calls you a white racist etc...

Excellent observation. Her resilience is so none existent that she likely has no heart to attempt research. Which is why she just lies. She is also so condescending because she's overcompensating for her lack of evidence. This a textbook example of someone that wants to rise not by improving themselves, but by tearing down others in a slanderous way. It is despicable, and she is doing a disservice to her viewers by allowing them to believe that making up accusations without even attempting to utilize critical thinking skills is ok. It isn't and she is essentially weaponizing and perpetuating ignorance.
