Melting Moments Cookies! ONLY 4 INGREDIENTS! This recipe used to be on the back of cornstarch packages years ago. These buttery tasting shortbread-like cookies will wow your world and everyone else who is lucky to eat them! They melt in your mouth! I sprinkled an extra light layer of pink sugar on top of the powdered sugar to celebrate Valentine's Day too! Why not? They are the perfect little cookies to enjoy! You can use your imagination and sprinkle anything on top like cocoa, or any other decorations you may have on hand. These are excellent for thumbprint additions like chocolate kisses, maraschino cherries, icing and frosting. You won't be disappointed making these, they are bakery quality! Recipe:
Melting Moments Cookies
1 cup flour
1/2 cup cornstarch
1/2 cup confectioner's (powdered) sugar
3/4 cup butter, softened
After mixing the cookie dough, refrigerate for 1 hour
Preheat oven 300° F ( right before taking cookie dough out of the refrigerator)
Bake for about 20 minutes (cookies will be very light on the top and bottom)
Makes about 2 1/2 dozen cookies
