I am in no sense a professional reader, voice actor, or what have you. I began this audiobook project some years ago when some friends of mine jokingly said they'd read A Song of Ice and Fire (my favorite fantasy series) if I personally recorded the whole series in audiobook form and sent it to them. Having now made my way almost through the first two books in the series, I decided to join the small community of people who post their own amateur audibook readings to youtube, and share my efforts.
I have no intention of profiting off of the work that is copyrighted to George RR Martin. This upload is a tribute to a series I deeply love, and I strongly encourage you to purchase these books. You won't regret it.
Also I should give full credit to my cat, Claudio, for the frequent background meows and purring sounds you hear throughout.

I can see how the seven got so popular in this world, also, the Red Lamb is so intense, I love him
Ok this is top 5 favourite chapters, i really can see myself listening to Barristan. The body part flying above me. Im scared but his speech makes me just enough to dare to attack. Not too much so i would believe i was invincible. But if i sh*t myself, it would be ok! I love this chapter so much The one downside is i think he is "shouting" so most of them can hear! Still 10/10
Ser Barristan is a bad ass! The tv show butchered his character! They did him no justice!

@@LordZebra blackfyres are a bunch of loosers who never achieved anything. They also dont have any Dragon hatching or taming genes. If they were true Targaryens they wouldve conquered a new empire in Essos.
Fucking ayyyy I love Ser Grandfather. This kinda thing has gotta be nervewrecking! The possibility of dying, and killing others (which seems even harder). It gotta be awesome to have a leader that motivates and inspires. Like in Troy when brad Pitt playing Achilles gave the mermidons that speech before taking the beach! Bad fucking ass.
First off, loved this chapter. Great read, as usual. You have me more hooked as ever. I'm expecting all the barristan chapters in TWOW to be my favourite! I've been working on a story of my own about the Siege of Tyre (Alexander the Great) and it's told through the POV of a soldier. I'm trying to work on an audio book version of it, but my voice doesn't seem to favour it 😅 I wish you could read my chapter... But I could only dream of it

I could swear that the last sentence was 'selmy charged' in the versión I read but still an awesome chapter like most in the series

Yeah GRRM has released some chapters, though don’t take them as canon as he can and probably has gone back and edited them. This chapter Barristan I is the chapter that appears at the end of A Dance with Dragons

Two of them (Tyrion I and Barristan II) weren't officially released. George read them at some cons, and no one bothered to transcribe his words.

It's real, GRRM published some (11 I think) preview chapters from the Winds. He published them back in 2012 I suppose.
