The Upper Back Pain Muscle (How to Release It for INSTANT RELIEF)
Dr. Rowe shows how to quickly release tightness and tension in muscles that cause the most pain around the upper back.
A big contributing factor of upper back pain and discomfort comes from a build up of stress, tension, and tightness in muscles that can lead to painful strain and inflammation.
This video will keep it simple by fixing weakness and tightness in the main muscles that cause pain in this area, especially the rhomboids and upper trapezius.
Each exercise works a little differently. To get the best results, go through them all and use what gives you the most pain relief.
As a bonus, all of these exercises can be done at home.

The angel exercise is what worked for me. This man is a hero. Literally just casually changing lives of people trying to find help.
God bless this man.. such a rare gem to find Doctors who actually care about their patients. Most chiropractors are just a quick pop/Crack... and your bank account feels it more than you do. Thank you Dr. Rowe!
You are amazing, Dr. Rowe! I have been to Chiros and PTs and no one ever shows any of your wonderful stretches and exercises. Thank you so much!!!!

Thanks for this. I’ve done some variation of all of these but I think the biggest takeaway is “3 to 5 times.” That’s where the magic happens.

After been injured I've had pain in these areas since, stretching helps but with me the pain is mostly there. It was my left side, then switched to my right side, right side having spasms up into neck muscles pulling side of face to top of head. Happens regularly. I'll save this video thanks you for your videos much appreciated. 🇦🇺
Ohhh that looks great. My upper back has hurt 50 yrs. I have a constant (permanent) knot under my shoulder blade, toward center. I do try & roll a tennis ball, back to wall. That helps but awkward. Thanks!!

Elder version /downward facing dog in yoga. If elders do it on a chest/like for blankets elder s don't have to get onto knees, Namaste
Can you do a video for flat feet? Thatd be appreciative. Or link me to one if youve done it, already.
do u think degen of L5, and compressed neck bones can get better ? I also have scoliosis of thoracic. ty.
Oh how I wish I could do this. I had left shoulder reverse replacement 2 weeks ago. My upper back is screaming at me. My husband has tried to massage the area but it has not helped.
These all sound great but I need to have reverse shoulder replacements on both shoulders due to large bone spurs in both shoulder so I can not do any of these. Any suggestions for me?
Can I do the floor exercise with chronic pain/sciatic from Cauda Equina Syndrome & L3/4/5 bulges/ severe stenosis?? Recently seen McTimoney Chiro 4 times for terrible Upper back/scapula pain in all the places you mentioned but the pain is still there! Please advise me. Your exercises are always brilliant & different. Thank you from the UK.
Assalam o alaikum! Severve axonal injury of ulnar nerve fiber in the medial cord .partial axonal injury of upper trunk and posterior cord or significant evidance for renervation in right arm .plz sugest me exercises
Can I do that if I have anterior pelvic tilt?or will it hurt the arch?
Is this safe to do after rotator cuff surgery 10 months ago?
Hi, thank you for the video! My current situation is very unique- every time i move my left arm, my collarbone makes a clicking sound and u can actually feel the ligament moving in/on the collarbone. The pain runs all the way from my collarbone to my upperback/shoulderblades. I did an MRI + Xray and it shows that the ligament is inflamed + my collarbones are not identical on both sides (the painful side has less gap and is higher than the other) My doctor only recommended that I stretch a lot and gave me some pain medications which arent helping. I've been having this issue for over a year now and it does not seem to get better... I cannot exercise/go to the gym anymore because it is always painful. Please help. Thank you again!
Will this work if rhomboid is strained? It hurts when I try.
got any tippety tips for pectus?
Some times after sneezing I get a really sharp pain in the area shown in the thumbnail
In my case it is overstretched because when I sleep on my left side, it becomes stiff due to my heavy weight and now it pains.
That's the muscle it hurts on winter for me. Idk why 🤨 I hope this exercise will help to relieve it. Probably the small scoliosis is a bit of the guilt.
