Great idea, I am kind of regretting not getting two when they were on sale for under £30.

I have the T3 Wanderer Tilley hat and like it a lot, but I must admit yours is sharper looking. Oh, one of the straps goes at the back of your head and the other can go under your chin for heavy winds or that sort of thing, if you like. If you want the chin strap out of the way, you can loop it around the velcro in that top pouch. Cheers.

Yeah, I don't know for sure on the different models of hats. The T3 definitely has enough slack for it if you pull the knotted ends closer together. The straight loop without the knots is the one that goes under the chin. Nice channel you've got going. I subscribed. Cheers.

Just been sailing with a Tilley hat and can confirm, under the chin and use the knots on the cord to make a snug fit. With back head cord in place it sticks like glue. Fantastic!
