I actually cannot link the Women's Health story because you need a membership, but it's titled "The Influencers are not Alright." This business is still fairly new and I think we will learn so much years from now. I'm honored to be part of this inception starting late in 2018, but man I will never get used to being videotaped in public and followed around! As mentioned, the excitement of studying has already helped me balance out the deep fry of my brain. I hope to continue this good mental health streak and never caving into the NYC it-girl lifestyle again. The more I get to know myself the more I despise this industry but want to help make a change.

You are just a child of God and you are no better than the God that you served. John 15:18-21 Jesus said to his disciples, "If the world hates you, be aware that it hated me before it hated you. If you belonged to the world, the world would love you as its own. Because you do not belong to the world, but I have chosen you out of the world-therefore the world hates you. Remember the word that I said to you, 'Servants are not greater than their master.' If they persecuted me, they will persecute you; if they kept my word, they will keep yours also. It is the greatest honor of all. Embrace it. God is with his beloved.😘😘😘 You have hater you are doing right😏😏😝😝

I asked for an explanation and they gave me NONE. However one brand hinted saying that it’s because it’s embedded with hate in America and I’m accountable lol. But if you really look at history, it wasn’t until later on that it became wrapped in that southern evangelicalism and politics. There’s a documentary on KZread about this and I found it quite interesting. I just think it’s silly to group everybody and say that we all are spreading hate lol.

Ooh I have a LOT to say about people idolizing or having idols in general. I'm looked at like narcissistic psychopath when I say I've never had an idol or a celebrity idol etc. It's so weird to me for people to worship others. I think it creates an unhealthy obsession that can absolutely lead to safety issues for the idol, and unhealthy self esteem issues for the fans. I love enjoying the art, literature and talent of people that entertain or inspire me, but I don't think I'll ever understand devotions to celebrities or influencers. Be safe, Kelly!

I think in the next few years we will definitely be seeing a lot of these kids from these "family" vlog channels speaking out against and suing their parents, so many of them are basically working to make money for their parents and they didn't sign up for that kind of life where they are famous and have no privacy.

As a Christian, I've been watching your videos for years (i forgot how long) so seeing you slowly talk about your journey with God and not being ashamed of it (esp rn at this era) makes me so happy! I've always loved your brilliant mindset since I've first saw your old videos and I just had a feeling you would be the type who would be both logical & philosophical when it comes to religion, which turned out true! (cuz u alrdy are brilliant like that with the concept of life!) Im so thrilled that we have similar concepts when it comes to being a Christian (such as how I also don't often attend church since being a Christian isn't rlly about your good deeds, its literally about ur personal relationship with God and your heart for redemption; plus the Bible said so too, that its not about how many times you go to church or how many verses you memorize, its about how your heart is with God) (which is why Im wary of ppl who brag too much abt the amount of times they attend Church or memorize verses cuz..yk wat that means) honestly i could go on and on about this, such as how its easy for ppl to call themselves a Christian but not actually be a Christian and yet other people for some reason don't get that and instead believe if this "Christian" is bad then all "Christians" are bad. Or how complex the Bible is and others take it too literally. Idk! Its so much but I would so love to hear all your thoughts on this someday if possible. But anyways, just wanted to say I'm so happy for you, rlly! Sending love & prayers!

This is the realest. This job aint easy at ALL. And getting recognized in public is the weirdest. I have kids and it's happened to me while I'm out with my family. Being an "influencer" is not for the faint of heart at all. Keep up the great work. 👍

hey wanted to say thank you, Kelly, for talking about your faith and staying strong... I think in another video you were talking about how things would work out well in a kind of magical way, and you were sitting in sunlight. it helped me through some tough feelings too. Have a lovely winter+ God is always with you

KELLY, Im so proud of you!!! You did exactly what I was trying to tell you to do, if you ever even read my comment! A part time job, OR schedule a class or to just to plug back in to society. Also staying strong with religious beliefs. If these things work for you in the smallest way, it is totally worth it. We want to see you happy, fulfilled and living it up!

It happens to me a lot when I’m in New York City which is why I’m so glad I’m not there anymore. Summertime was the worst. There was one day when I walked until Whole Foods and a nice person asked for a photo with me. But then he proceeded to walk in my direction out of the store towards my apartment so then I walked a different way. He took my bag out my hand and he kept asking well are you going this way too? I said no and took my bag back. I ended up doing a whole lap around the neighborhood before he gave up. This is why everybody online becomes a hermit but that’s not who I am. I like going outside by myself. I need to change my hairstyle and get a new purse so I’m not recognizable.

It took me a while to understand that a lot of people were actually trying to be nice to me, but they were trying to hold me hostage. I had no issue carrying my bags lol. I started carrying mace all the time after that.

I really love how your channel has evolved as well as you 🤍 I started following you a year and a half ago and youve been giving such interesting and important insight about life as a young independent woman (i actually live alone since only a year ago!). But what made me want to stay for real (apart from your realness) is your openness about your faith since i am a christian as well and it's been such a ride when you live alone and you question things while meet new people. I am glad we have such a similar experience, it gives so much comfort 🫶🏻 Wishing you the best for the years to come and can't wait to see where life takes you! And how we can learn from your future experiences. Thank you for sharing your life and thoughts ❤ Rest assured there is always someone who will resonate with you.

"You could post a picture of you holding flowers and someone is saying that's offensive" SO TRUE!! :D I liked the article and I'm happy that you are finding ways to deal with all that. The article did a good job pointing out the paradox of influencers promoting healthy lifestyles while the influencing they are doing is unhealthy to themselves. There's another great article about how trauma narratives became a huge thing (and a business) and I think the trauma stuff in social media is also a HUGE problem (I say while my own KZread channel is just me oversharing my life :D), the article is called "The Case Against The Trauma Plot" in The New Yorker. One of the many reasons why I like your channel is that you don't fall into victimhood and self exploitation when it comes to hardships in life but you are graceful and resilient :)

Kelly you got charisma . I think you know this , this is nothing new that I’m about to say . The Stampede adores you because of your realness . On behalf of true new yours everywhere, I’m sorry you had to experience being terrified by complete strangers/stalkers. They know you but you don’t know them . You didn’t deserve to be put in that awkward awful emotional state. Totally understandable reaction. But know this Kelly, your the only KZreadr /influencer that as soon as I notice you’ve uploaded a new video 😊 I click a thumbs up , before you utter one word . That my lady, is Power ! Continue to use it wisely. Blessings on you.❤
