@@KellyStamps Best answer ever!! All of my adult life I have resented people I have only recently met asking me that, but I could never put into words why it bothered me so much. It’s a thoughtless question, similar to a telemarketer starting their call with, “How are you doing today?” when we both know they really don’t give a crap how I’m doing! It feels like I’m being set up for having my worth judged by a stranger.

Kelly!! I talked with a friend about doing stuff online and he told me he has no interest being in the public light. There is a cost of lost privacy. You have access to $$$ and opportunities that other people don't though. So you are at the forefront of the american dream. Your ceiling for pay is way way high but... your level of dedication has to be high. Don't burn out but don't forget others would love to have what you have. You look good gurl. Be safe in the big apple.

Some people are scumbags and if they treat people like dirt and it gets filmed... Oh boy, another apology video will be in the making. But let's keep it simple and authentic. Also, No matter how famous an influencer may get, I think an assumption is made that “ Hey, they put there life out there on Social media, they should handle people coming up to them and invading their space. “ Any influencer, regardless of how famous… is a person. A person that needs to be respected like any other person. The influencer has feelings. They have their own space. Respect respect respect.

Thanks, Kelly, for talking about the reality of being an influencer. Too many people think it's easy, when the reality is that, unfortunately, there are a lot of entitled (and dangerous) people who have no issue being rude to you or putting you at risk. I really appreciate that view point.

I am so sorry, beautiful classy lady. I was one of those who, more than two years ago, found your content on KZread, and asked you what you do for a living. Needless to say, I am very happy to have found you. On days that are less good than others, I find you doing your thing and couldn't help but ending up with a smile in my face.

Yo!! Your first 2 minutes described my first job as a housewife! I was in finance for years, then got married and had kids while leveraging my husband’s salary to buy us apartments. Not everyone wants to work in a giant corporation. I work for US. The upside is way higher. Not always glamorous, but it’s a good life.

Kelly, your videos are always so much more complex than they seem on the surface. I am really sorry that you have had frightening and invasive people disturbing your life without having a parent to talk to about it. I still remember the video where right in the middle of it you mentioned that your dad had just passed away and my heart just broke for you. His love and what he gave you will always be with you. Secondly, thank you for the general message about going for it as a KZreadr. Between taking a job last year, (partly just to see if I was still hireable), and my sister’s health situation occupying much of my time over the last year I have literally only done shorts and a handful of videos the past few months, yet I still keep getting subscribers, so people obviously are watching and like the videos I made in the past. I think of videos and write them down regularly, yet rarely have time to actually create. Maybe it’s time for me to get back to being a KZreadr. Thank you for the push!

Individuals projecting on you can be the absolute scariest and frustrating thing about being in any form of the public eye. Para social relationships. It comes with the territory. I agree with you. Starting things based on principles and values that have some merit of decency, which will ultimately allow you to sleep at night and look yourself in the mirror.
