TLDL: - I love AMC nachos - You don't need a $4000 Mac to edit. Just buy a $50 hard drive and stay frugal when starting your channel. Look how far I've come without all the bells and whistles! - I'm grappling with moving to LA or NYC to stay "connected" and "relevant" but I like pursuing a career in a normal place. It's wholesome and I feel 0 pressure to be anyone I'm not. - The tea was hot in 2020 and I'm not afraid to speak my mind. - I remember to water my plants nowadays

To your 3rd point, I’d say both of your concerns are valid. I am currently trying to grow my channel from Virginia Beach (where i work as a naval officer) so i often feel as though I’m not connected with other creators because no one is out here 😂 So my question to you is: how do you overcome not being connected while living in a normal area when starting a channel? Thank you for your time. -Ced

100% agree. Also every view you have doesn't always have to be public. I love horror movies and dramas, but I also like comedies. This channel is like my comedy. And also, people who are all Veruca Salt about success you're having need to take a few deep breaths. There are many folks in the world that try everyday and may never see material manifestations of success. But occasionally, you do. The Veruca Saltism is just immaturity.

I get that it can be overwhelming (I 100% believe that all Black people don't have to speak on issues ALL the time & we shouldn't be guilt tripped into doing so. we're already experiencing/living it.) BUT speaking on those issues will never be "played out". Black people speaking up is how we're able to - & have the rights/freedoms to - live the lives we want. like, for example, how Kelly(& other Black ppl/poc) have *access* to traveling/living in all these places w/o being in too much fear for their lives. (even our past activists & revolutionaries have emphasized how joy & rest are important & how Black people, especially Black women, living their best life, how they want, is an important/significant act in & of itself. not everyone is the same. some speak up all the time & some less but it will never be played out.)

@@KellyStamps Something I've noticed that's different on Tiktok compared to KZread is that people who live in non-standard cities and work regular jobs tend to pop off more. Just because social media augments what they already do rather than being the only thing they do. For real. I'm living in Boston (I moved for love) and while I like my life here, I miss the cost and convenience of my former small city Midwest life. I'm not a KZreadr (yet) but I'd move back in a hot second if I could. I wouldn't miss it taking an hour to get anywhere and costing $100 or more a pop to do so many things I could do for almost free back "home." I think you are going to find good content no matter where your homebase is, especially as a traveler. Be were you can most easily live your best life.

So this is going to be kind of a long one but bear with me. 1. It doesn't bother me when my favorite creators suddenly experience a financial uptick. I want y'all to be successful. You're not only smart and entertaining but you're also humble and level headed. There are creators who do not appreciate what they have and make content by flexing their wealth *cough* Ace family *cough* 2. Admittedly I did like that you made the decision to move down south just because everyone is usually based in LA or NY. It's becoming a little more common that creators are moving out of these places to live somewhere more affordable and relaxing. I want you to live a comfortable life but I understand you do feel more creative in NY. I think fans just want you to do what you think is best. You've been super independent and have made great financial decisions that I really respect. Trust your intuition. 3. I can only speak for myself when I say that I don't watch every single video you post and that's because of work and ~ depression ~ I feel you have an audience made of working class people in their 20s and 30s so maybe some viewers are catching up later on (I certainly did). 4. One of my favorite gaming channels , aka mostly sims 4 content, is from a creator name Plumbella. She recently had a major breakthrough in her mental health and decided she's not going to pay attention to the stats. I don't want to speak for her so I won't go into the details of her health. Basically though she fell down this hole that put immense pressure on her to preform a certain way on KZread. Since breaking through that mindset she makes stuff she's happier with. Please don't let stats make you question your work. I'm also Inna toxic environment but I can't leave. To see you thriving in multiple cities makes me happy because you genuinely deserve it. I hope one day I can do even a fraction of what you've accomplished. Also, I tell anyone and everyone to watch you. I've told friends, coworkers, and even people on reddit lol. So in conclusion: you're amazing, talented, smart, and the cooliest. You always figure it out in the end. So drink water, stretch, and I look forward to your next video!

Regarding your poll at the end of the video: I don't live in the US and don't ever plan on it, so I don't care much about LA and NYC or whatever. I find a lot of that content is about spending tons of money on bougie stuff no one needs. (not that yours was ever like this, but I just mean you're hella interesting wherever you are so it doesn't matter to me)The content I find most inspiring and enjoyable are videos from creators that are BALANCED. As in, yes show me the aspirational dream girl I strive to become, but also talk openly about your struggles, mental health, and especially the journey of how you got where you are. I like to learn and be entertained and feel a little jealous of your lifestyle all in one. Whether it's about doing KZread full time, or someone who also has a day job, that's what I enjoy the most, is stuff that inspires and educates me.

For the poll, I think you should do what makes you happy, a city doesn’t make a good content creator, there’s so many content creators who live in nyc & la but you are so much bigger than them & more entertaining. This is just an idea, if you do want to move back to nyc, you could live in New Jersey and do aviation school there and occasionally visit nyc. Plus you’d have the best of both world, cheaper living (than nyc) in New Jersey and seeing your pilot journey & content creator stuff in nyc.

You have exploded in growth while dealing with the loss of your dad and grandma, so it's a testament to your persistence and committed dedication to move forward in your life and enjoy and savor the harvest of what you have sown for yourself, even when it's bittersweet. To answer your poll, visit NYC, Boston, LA and such a few times a year for a boost to your creative umph and easy vlogging content. You already enjoy traveling, so you can see it as a chance to get your Eataly fix. Depending on travel restrictions, you can start planning to travel to Europe (Paris, Rome, London, Berlin, Amsterdam, etc.) and Japan (Tokyo, Kyoto, Osaka, Sapporo, Fukuoka, etc.) and even Australia (Sydney, Melbourne, Gold Coast, Hobart for a visit to Tasmania, etc.). It would be amazing to watch your travel vlogs from there as you imbue them with your storytelling. Videos visiting your family members across the US may also do well.

You absolutely are very entertaining, very talented, very much intelligent and one of the most humble/honest creators out there. Not only do I enjoy watching for entertainment, I literally learn so much from you. I don't care where you live. I will always be here. I also feel that you are doing the right and wise thing for yourself by thinking ahead fiscally for your future. So keep doing what's best for you. At one point you mentioned having two spaces. Maybe if you temporarily rented or Airbnb somewhere in New York to film, the viewers would be happy. But I don't think a permanent move is the answer. Best wishes to you & so much love 💘.
